Best food tour guide in Spain! ELVIRA - My last time in Barcelona was Spring 1969 as I was driving to Sitges. This time I spent 4 nights there with a friend and we hired Elvira for 2 nights of fun, food, and Spanish frolic! She knew where to take the 4 of us, which TAPAS to order, and everyone was amazing! We went to places most tourists would pass on the street! She knew the folks that ran the cafes and restaurants and we were served fast some of the best food and drinks ever!
I would recommend Everyone who travels to Barcelona to hire Elvira for a food tour! She’s so positive, fun AND speaks perfect English! My best 2 nights in Barcelona was with Elvira!!

Family tour in the Gothic quarter - We had a great time on our tour with Alex, who was an incredible guide. From the very beginning, he was gracious, welcoming, and highly knowledgeable about Spanish food culture. The tapas and wine selections were fantastic — especially the paella, which was a real highlight. Highly recommend this experience!

Great experience with Elvira! - We had the pleasure of experiencing a food tour in Barcelona with Elvira, and it was truly exceptional. After spending five days in the city trying to savor as many native dishes as possible, Elvira took our culinary adventure to a whole new level. She guided us to three different local restaurants where we indulged in food and drinks that we would never have ordered on our own. More than a food tour - More than a food tour. Had a wonderful time with Elvira, her knowledge of local food and history was amazing. Elvira took us to places that did not show up on our research before the trip and we’re so thankful that we were able to experience it. Highly recommend this tour for people interested in the culture of Barcelona and not just the food.

Great Food Tour - Fun food tour in Barcelona. We got a chance to check out Santa Caterina, a local restaurant and wine/cheese shop. It was fun to walk around the Gothic Quarter with Alex. He was very patient and accommodating.

Fantastic private tour in the market and tapas bars - Gonzalo will give you the customized tour you want for food in Barcelona! He quickly assessed what we wanted and delivered. We had a fabulous time in the market and went to 3 tapas bars. His knowledge of history was a plus and even got tips for other cities we would be visiting on our vacation. Book this tour!

Enjoyable experience - Enjoyable tour but note that food is not included. I have been on several food tours and that was a first. However, it was a delightful tour and Elvira is a very good tour guide. She takes you off the beaten touristy area which was quite enjoyable!

We paid way too much... - We paid way too much money for this tour. I think doing a food tour needs to really stand out. We have high tastes and the food ordered for us were honestly more like tv dinners and typical American fried food. In hindsight I should have booked one of our favorite restaurants because it still would have been cheaper and more exciting food wise. We did really enjoy hearing our guide’s experiences and history with the community and food. I realized that we have really enjoyed the experience tours with Viator (like about history, etc), but food is too personal. Just my opinion.
