Great overview of Barcelona - Peter provided an interesting commentary on the tour sights. We had a few stops with some specified time to look around. We had e bikes but some had regular bikes in our group. As it is pretty flat in Barcelona, either bike suits the tour. An enjoyable tour.

Great ride, but poor organisation. - The bike tour itself was great, but the organisation prior was terrible. We waited almost an hour before we got started, there didn't seem to be any system in place for getting groups ready to go, they ran out of bikes and were trying to convince people to take scooters instead, etc. However, as mentioned, once we started it was great.

Great tour - Nice tour with a nice Guide. Everything is well arranged. A disadvantage is that the explanation in terms of conditions is not good. The orange fox website states that the tour includes a bicycle. This is clearly indicated which is also confirmed by the host on the spot. However, you only pay for the Guide when booking! This was already mentioned somewhat in the confirmation and was asked by us via app contact. Until the moment of booking they respond but when I came up with pictures of the site where it says really inclusive bike, I heard nothing more. Downside. At the time of check-in you still need to rent a bike. Marina agreed with us that this is not true. But it cannot change it. You then have the choice to cancel the tour and she will provide a refund. We went for the bike anyway. As said everything fine arranged and friendly people. I would say modifying the website to avoid this "annoyance / disappointment".

Disappointing. Possibly dangerous. Waste of time - Pros: inexpensive (you get what you pay for), tour guide knowledgeable Cons: 28- 30 riders single file in group. Multiple problems with this: 1. Only about a third of the group could make it through the very very very frequent lights. This meant we spent (seriously), most of the time waiting for the rest of the groups to cross. This meant on, off, on , off almost every block (there were 2-3 slightly long stretches of dedicated bike paths). Tons of wasted time. Having a much smaller group (10-12) would solve this problem but the profits wouldn’t be there. 2. Toward the end, the tour guide must have given up on keeping us together and counting the riders. This was a problem as 1 of the rider’s chain came off her bike and she had to pull to the side. Everyone biked past her, but my husband and I stopped. He told me to go ahead and let the tour guide know and he would try and fix her chain. By the time I caught up with the tour guide, (think all those lights), FIVE blocks later, she had reached, Segada Familia and was clueless that two riders were missing (3 if you include me). We had to tell her. She did immediately respond, but by then the bike was fixed and rejoined the group. When I told her I was upset about this. Her response was “well. I had to keep the group together and couldn’t stop”. This was ridiculous as we were part of ‘the group’, and when the tour began, she spent countless amount of time while wiring for others to cross. 3. (Possibly my fault): I am an experienced writer and have gone on bike tours down and up mountains on many many trips. I am short about five 1 1/2. They really didn’t have a bike that fit me so they did do the best they could. I should’ve stopped and canceled right there because my feet could never reach the ground without tipping the bike and putting my foot down. Because of the frequency of stops and starts and stops and starts. I was absolutely exhausted from having to push and hop up to the seat during this journey.
