Great way to see the City! - We took both routes. It was a great way to see the city. This hop on - hop off bus takes you yo all of the important sites. It is very easy to navigate. The busses run very frequently.

Good way to see the city, very busy bus - We got a 48 hour pass, and overall it was a good way to see the city, but at just a few stops almost everyone got off and then got on the bus so you'd have to wait for a few before there was space if it was specifically busy. I imagine in summer/spring/fall it's much worse since this is a slower time of year. Also, we had to stand several times, which meant we couldn't hear the on board commentary. I'd just make sure you get on, get a seat, and ride it once to see everything and hear everything, then decide about getting off somewhere.

Good deal! - Great way to get around Barcelona - there are 2 routes (orange & green) to get you all around the city - several stops are overlapping allowing you to change lines - while there though, some stops were ‘closed’/sometimes requiring us to walk a good distance - we had to be very aware of this in order make sure we were able to get back to our starting point - other than that, it worked well for us

Hop on hop off bus a yes, skip the boat part - Short Version -- get this hop on hop off, without the boat tour....we thought on the boat tour interesting sights would be noted, or even and audio guide to what we are seeing would be provided, that wasn't so, instead it was merely a turnabout on the coast and back....the Hop.on/hop off bus is quite uswful.in visiting several sites of interest and getting infirmation along the route via the audio guide by plugging into the wall jack. Wear your broad hat and sun block, sit on the top deck and have your camera ready. Look at the attractions you may want to stop at before, take the bus early, and be prepared to walk a little from the shop to get to the attractions in some cases (like Park Guell)... is day this is a definite yes to cover the highlights of Barcelona.

Good way to see highlights when short on time - This is the second time on a Barcelona Hop on Hop Off. It was busier than 10 years ago. While a great way to get an overview tge traffic jams are really a hi deran e to the flow.

Overview of city, but disappointing on some levels - We have taken several hop on hop off tours in other cities and this was not one of my favorites . It was difficult to correlate the pre recorded commentary with what we were seeing. In some places it seemed that we could not see what they were discussing from the bus... example the cable cars and amusement park. Also literature and guide don't provide sites of interest available at specific stops. A positive is that ear phones are provided and the commentary is available in multiple languages. We were there the day prior to a holiday so perhaps was extraordinarily busy, but at each stop there were so many people waiting to board that it was packed with people having to stand in the aisles. Definitely a good value to see around the city , but I can't say I would reccomend it.

Hop on Hop off nightmare - The lines waiting to get on were horrible. No explanation of where to get headphones or how to use them. Very disappointed!
