Great way to spend a day outside the city! - Having been to Barcelona a number of times I chose this tour to give my husband and I a chance to see some places outside the city. The drive was scenic and our excellent driver, Alejandro took us up into the mountains to visit the three villages which were all unique. Xavi, was our guide. He spoke excellent English and was extremely knowledgeable about the history of each of the villages. He conducted a walking tour followed by free time in the first two villages and a walking tour in the third. We had plenty of opportunity to ask questions and he visited with each of us at the end of the tour to see if we needed any recommendations for things to do or restaurants in Barcelona which I thought was extremely nice. I would highly recommend this tour and Xavi!

A MUST!!! Quaint, Quiet, Intriguing! A Tour Guide That is Second To NONE!!! - This tour was, by far, the best of an 11 port cruise vacation. Jordi, our tour guide, was the most interesting and knowledgeable guide ever! There was never a down time where we had to ask about the surroundings. Taking us about 2 hours into Barcelona, the three villages escalated in beauty, intrigue and history! Quaint, quiet, and timeless, they drew my husband and me to them. My favorite was Rupite! On this tour we experienced an awesome fort, scenic views, a wooden suspension bridge, lovely quaint homes, leisurely strolling cats and a very friendly and welcoming dog who gave us his belly to rub. This tour was 5-star and the tour guide, Jordi, was second to none, the absolute best!!! Ask for him, you won't regret it!!!!

Amazing medieval day in the Pyranees! - What an amazing day with our guide/driver Nu! We had a small van for 8 tourists. We spent the day driving to 3 small medieval villages, each with their own character and history. I learned much from Nu and she took very good care of us through the day. In the second village we could have lunch and there were many options to choose from including a Michelin star! This was my favorite excursion out of Barcelona-you won't be disappointed!

A tour of Spanish towns in the Middle Ages - The guide speaks clearly in English, the atmosphere is very comfortable, this trip looks like few Asians, but really very recommended! It feels like going into a movie scene, people who usually come to Spain may rarely choose, the whole trip to a town on a cliff, can overlook their waterfalls, is a very special trip ~

Attentive guide and relaxing day tour - Sergi is one of the most professional and personable guide I’ve interacted with, and there are no questions too small for him, a consummate professional who has excellence in mind, and you can tell that guiding is his passion. He even provided great suggestions for sequencing the few key museums in Barcelona so thanks to his recommendations, I had a very productive last day covering 4-5 museums in one day. The three villages themselves I thought might not be that unique among the many medieval towns/castles, but if you are looking for a more relaxing pace and still take in the countryside and go back to the medieval time, this tour hits that note. Overall highly recommended.

A wonderful day with beautiful locations and an amazing host - We had an amazing trip today with Nu! She was the most amazing host and added to the enjoyment of the whole tour. The villages were beautiful - Besalu was the largest and we started there first. Lots of tourists. Rupit was next...be warned if you get motion sickness to take something for it before leaving Besalu as it is a winding steep road up a mountain and then down again, to Rupit. Rupit was my favourite and very picturesque and the group had a lovely lunch at a family-owned restaurant there. Finally Tavertet was the smallest and quietest but the historic church was well worth seeing.
