Very interesting - Owen was very clear and knows very well the history of both Barcelona and the neighborhood. Very funny, the two hours of visit passed very quickly and we would have even continued the visit of other neighborhoods

amazing B side of BCN - If you really want to know the city, you should start with this tour. Eoghan, the wonderful guide, took us through one of the most important neighborhoods in BCN and it's not so shining secrets while navigating through beautiful street scenery.

Great tour and Zaynab was fab - Great tour - plenty of insights. We had a tour guide, Zaynab, who was helpful and well informed. There was a good balance of walking with relevant insights and then stops at key points. Recommend.

Informative intro to Raval - An informative, nice introduction to the neighborhood. Callum was a great guide who made sure everyone in our small group was engaged. He provided lots of history and cultural information (then and now), and offered lots of recommendations, which are greatly appreciated.

Starting our trip with the rest of the story. - This was our first tour upon arriving to Barcelona. It was the best one to start the trip with. It made us feel like insiders. Eoghan was our guide, Marty LaRae and I cannot thank him enough for his insight and love for his City.

Dark side tour gone light - Our tour guide was very personable and informative. The introductions were extremely useful as it helped get to know one another and ease the conversation. Loved the dark history of Barcelona as most do not mention the dark side of their beloved city

Barcelona's dark past in a quick run - There were two of us in Barcelona and had booked this tour in advance through GoCity or their partner ExpirienceFirst. Our very friendly guide was Eoghan. At the beginning there was a short introduction round to warm up and then we started. The tour lasted about 2 hours. During this time we have covered a decent distance and some sinister events from Barcelona's past have been reported. Not all participants were so taken with this, because the group was already decimating after about half an hour. I was hoping to get a first impression and some orientation for the coming days during the tour. This worked so semi-well, which was due to the very high walking pace of our leader. These and other tours that we have been on are obviously subject to a strict schedule and are timed accordingly. You are asked for your age when booking online, but this is not taken into account during the process. The tour was conducted in English and you have to be pretty good at it to keep up with the fast pace of speech. I think some people with a different mother tongue weren't so fond of it. Overall, I would say: Can be done if you are reasonably fit. We found it very exhausting because of the high speed on all sides.
