Luis and Kathe, his spouse are the creators and craftsmen behind HANDMADE BARCELONA®, a moral label renowned for handmade conventional footwear from Cataluña, Spain. Their family-run factories have been responsible for shoe production for several years.

Fun in Barcelona - Lots of fun and laughs. Pilu ad Pame were wonderful hosts. I made a nice pair of shoes with a lot of help from Pilu.

Changing my look - The staff were helpful and very friendly. They had so many cute sandals, and I got a pair for comfy and a pair for dress up. Totally love the fact that you can buy extra laces to really change the entire look of the dress up sandals.

Great Fun! - My wife and I were in Spain for two weeks and took several tours and activities in multiple cities. This event was the last one of our trip and it was definitely a highlight. The instructors were friendly and engaging, and took a personal interest to ensure each of us were able to create a beautiful pair of espadrilles. This is a family run business - and they are passionate about their shoes and this experience. If you want to have a lot of fun and return home with a beautiful pair of shoes - sign up for this event. It’s the perfect combination of fun and hands on learning.

Great class, fun teachers, and custom shoes! - Fun class, not only learning to make the shoes but also the history. It was a chance to be creative and make a custom souvenir. My teenage daughter and I loved it!

Fun, informative, creative - A fun and interactive experience! Informative, creative, Cava included. You can choose the kind of shoe, platforms cost are additionally, but flat ones have more colours to chose from. Its a fun way to start a day in the gothic district. Totally worth it.

Fun and interactive experience with wonderful hosts! - This was a very fun, interactive, and engaging experience. Annie and Jordie were both fabulous and an absolute joy. They made the class so much fun.
I highly recommend this for anyone looking to learn about history of espadrilles while designing your own!

Something fun and different to try in Barcelona. - Really nice bunch of people and so helpful. I was a little worried when I went initially as I was the only one in the class but it was great fun and Pilu was wonderful.
