As you navigate its narrow streets and pass by Ancient Roman ruins, you’ll journey through a thousand years of history. Your guide will provide the fascinating details that bring these streets to life.
- Bar La Plata - The second tapas bar on our tour, established in 1945, offers a menu of four tapas dishes. These dishes have been perfected over the years to highlight what makes Spanish cuisine unique: simple recipes made with the finest ingredients.
- Gothic Quarter (Barri Gotic) - At your final stop, enjoy a sit-down meal at a local establishment dating back to the early 20th century. Savor a classic selection of Catalan dishes like croquettes and cannelloni paired with local wine, and finish with a delicious traditional dessert.

A must do. -
Our food and history tour in Barcelona and it was an incredible experience. Benedetta did an amazing job of combining the rich history of the city with its delicious culinary offerings. We visited historic sites like the Gothic Quarter and learned about the city's past while also sampling traditional Catalan dishes.
We visited several tapas bars along the way, trying a variety of small plates and wines and learning about the history behind the dishes.
Overall, the food and history tour in Barcelona was a perfect blend of culture, cuisine, and sightseeing. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to delve deeper into the culinary and historical aspects of this vibrant city

Would recommend this tour. Great for first time Barcelona visitors. - Great tour. More than we had expected!
Erik was amazing. Food was outstanding. Drinks were fun. History of the area was very good.

I joined the tour in June... - I joined the tour in June 2024. It's my third time visiting Barcelona, but I am still very interested in finding good places to eat. Antonella was very enthusiastic and kept everyone entertained. The taverns she brought us to served great food and were not touristy, which I appreciated very much. I highly recommend this tour to everyone visiting Barcelona, whether it's their first time or not.

Gothic history with gastronomy - We thoroughly enjoyed this tour because Valentina, our guide, was very knowledgeable of the history of the Gothic quarter and the company of the other families also contributed to our experience. Valentina did a very good job in linking the gastronomy of this region with the gothic quarter surroundings. I recommend this evening tour to anyone especially to someone traveling “solo” because you will meet other travelers and have the opportunity to share some delightful meals. Bill & Margaret

Average - An enjoyable night but nothing spectacular.
We enjoyed our stroll around the city but didn’t feel wowed at all.
The food was good overall - leaving us full enough when we finished.
Given the price I would have expected a bit more to the experience.
It also all felt very rushed where we were put on a tight timetable and told often how the staff at the restaurant were annoyed at us for running late or being loud
