Fantastic Food tour with Liliia WithLocals - My teen girls and I had a great time on this tour. Liliia was the best guide of several we had in Barcelona. She is very personable, friendly, and has many interesting stories to share about the area. We signed up for a food tour and received so much more - with info about art and the neighborhood along the way. She was good at pacing us and gave us recommendations for the rest of our stay. I'd sign up with her again because she also does street art and shopping tours.

Wonderful tour with a wonderful guide - We had a wonderful time exploring Barcelona with Elvira. We tasted some of Barcelona’s specialties and got a real feel for the city. Highly recommend this tour!!!

Fantastic tour with Alan in Barcelona - My husband and I had a wonderful tour led by Alan. He gave us a good introduction to eating in Barcelona and was incredibly knowledgeable about the area’s history. This was a great way to kick start our trip. I would definitely take another tour with Alan.

Kick off your visit in Barcelona deliciously! - What a great way to see Barcelona for the first time! Hannah was a wonderful guide, selecting the places to see and things to eat and drink based on our needs (vegetarian, no seafood). We toured the Barri Gotic, asked lots of questions and laughed and enjoyed ourselves immensely. I would recommend the culinary kickstart and Hannah for sure to anyone!

Amazing discovery - Elvira is a really talented guide, very easy going and open minded. She adapted the tour completely to our needs and wishes, and took into consideration allergies and food preferences. We dived into the hidden streets and she made us discover and taste the most unknown and hidden gems of Barcelona's food culture. She is a vibrant, happy person. It was a really great experience! Thank you Elvira! And good luck with your yoga as well. The food budget was very limited though, not easy for her...

Great Foodie Adventure - Elvira was right on time and did a wonderful tour of different foods of Barcelona. Beginning with the Mercat Santa Catarina. My husband loves to eat and was not disappointed with anything he tried. Even the vermouth, which is not at all like vermouth in the US, was delicious. She was very engaging and informative. She was also flexible with her schedule and selection of foods. We would definitely recommend Elvira as your guide.

Ok but not amazing - It was more small tastings than any substantial sit down food. Our guide Moises was excellent but we were expecting more food

Complete rip off - An utter rip off. Ridiculously overpriced and the worst food tour EVER. Advertised as 6 stops, when, in reality, it was three crappy bites at two tiny places. The food was uninteresting and mediocre (and that's being generous). The guide was more focused on his arm and his own ailments, and was withdrawn through the tour, more silent than talking. We basically meandered through the Gothic Quarter seemingly aimlessly, had boring food and were done in barely more than an hour. Never, ever will I do anything with WithLocals again.

Not as Advertised - This is advertised as 6 tastings with two historic stops; we spent about 1 minute at one stop and never made it to another. As for the tastings we had a cone of ham, a juice, one microwaved empanada, two churro sticks and an in-store sample of fudge. Ham, juice, fudge, all of which are readily available in the US. No vermut or patatas bravas (as advertised). We stopped for coffee and WE paid for it (including his). For this we paid $80 EACH. Don't expect help from the company, we tried.

Terrible guide and terrible platform - We booked a food tour for 5 because we’ve had such great luck with tours in Europe in the past. With Locals gives you a choice of guides, and we picked one that had great reviews, Karim. Karim cancelled and we got assigned to Adi, who looked good so we didn’t mind and said nothing. Then Adi cancelled a couple of days we were to arrive, and we were assigned another guide, again without asking us. We asked if we could get another guide who was listed as available on the website for an hour earlier because he had great reviews. In response, without explanation, they cancelled that third guide and assigned us to a FOURTH guide, again without asking us. There is no way to contact With Locals - there is no real customer support, just chat bots. At this point, it was 2 days before our arrival, and we could not cancel so we went ahead thinking it would be fine. That guide Liliia was very nice and knew about art, but she knew nothing about food, and we were supposed to be on a food tour. We paid over $200 for someone to take us to a couple of places we could easily find ourselves and just sat there giving no description of food, culture - nothing. I’ve never had a guide give such little information on a tour. Worst yet, she had us spend more than half the tour in a nondescript, non-historical area of the city, so we learned hardly anything. I really really hate to leave bad reviews but in this case I think it was warranted - especially when there are great free tours all over Barcelona.
