Highlights

Before embarking on your tour to explore the sights of Barcelona, your guide will demonstrate how to safely operate the personal transporter. Once you feel confident, the tour will commence.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those who want to see the city and enjoy a Segway at the same time. During the tour, you can make stops to have some drinks or savor authentic Spanish tapas.

The tour begins at Barceloneta Beach, where you will enjoy a beautiful coastline. This is one of Barcelona’s oldest and most beloved beaches. It is believed to have inspired Miguel de Cervantes as the setting for the fight between Don Quixote and the Knight of the White Moon.

Next, you’ll visit the Old Port of Barcelona. It was developed as part of an urban renewal program before the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Previously, it was a neglected area of empty warehouses, railroad yards, and factories.

You’ll stop in front of the Columbus Monument, constructed for the 1888 World’s Fair in Barcelona to honor Columbus’s first voyage to the Americas. You will also see the charming and famous boulevard, La Rambla. Afterward, the tour will move to the central Parc de la Ciutadella, a historical landmark of the city’s great expansion.

The rest of the tour will be spent passing close to the Arc de Triomf and returning to the office through the Olympic Port. This project was completed following the 1992 Olympics, opening the city to the sea, and it hosted the Sailing Competitions during the Games. Here, you will find the famous skyscrapers: Mapfre and Hotel Arts. Both towers are exactly the same height, reaching 154 meters, and are situated directly opposite each other. Their monumental and impressive modern architecture makes them visible from anywhere in Barcelona.

Finally, you will head up to the Forum Park. The park was built for the 2004 Universal Forum of Cultures. It is not a park or green space in the traditional sense but a large area that brings together various spaces and amenities to host a wide range of events.

Vera and Anna who were lucky to find you - We had only 3 days in Barcelona and decided to do our first segway tour. Leo met us in the office of RoboCity and explained all the details and routes. Pretty fast we realized that we were very lucky to discover exactly this place. We wanted to go away from the typical touristic routes, so our guide Pau brought us to Montjuic Mountain. It was a great afternoon and Pau, who is a Catalonian, told us a lot of interesting facts about Catalunya's history, sports and architecture and answered all our questions. The next day without any hesitation we came back and made another 3-hour tour with the wonderful guide Anton who created a very personal adventure for us. We really didn't want it to end! Thank you Anton, Leo and Pau. We wish you all the best!

Best fun in Barcelona with your clothes on - Firstly, we booked this using the ‘Get your guide’ app. It made booking things before we set off very very easy. Not sure which package we actually booked but we had a 3 hour tour around Barcelona on the Segway. Never used one before but our guide Nuno gave us a quick guide and made sure we were happy before setting off. Don’t worry, after 5-10 mins, it feels natural. Firstly - touring Barcelona by Segway is pretty much the best way of seeing the sights without getting sore and tired feet. I’m seriously considering booking this again tomorrow. Our guide Nuno was brilliant!! He was funny, very knowledgeable about all the buildings and history and was so very watchful over everyone on the tour and the other pavement/road users. Thanks Nuno, you made our day very special. We’ll be back. G and Georgia

The best guide ever with Nuno - the trip was great, we visited many wonderful places such as the Parliament of Catalonia or the Catalan Arch in the center, and our guide, Nuno, talked brilliantly, creatively and comprehensively about them. Mr. Nuno is a very nice and helpful man who willingly answers our questions. Operating the Segway was not easy at the beginning, but with sometimes it was easy and pleasant. I personally highly recommend the trip

Beautiful Barcelona tour - Good: We had the 3hr Barcelona e scooter tour, I have taken a lot of tours In all over Europe but this was by far by the best, our tour guide Zarina was extremely knowledgeable he knew every detail and history about the whole tour SHe was always open to take questions and would answer them nicely and in detail Bad: They really raised the standard of tour guides which I would look for in everyone but don’t think I will find this sort of professionalism

Blast - Had a blast riding a Segway for the first time. The beginning (training) was a bit intimidating but it did not take long to learn to ride enough that you get much more comfortable over time. Saw lots of areas and the guide, Mario, was very informative and pleasant. Rode a long time and even in the evening. If you want to see a wide area of Barcelona (my first time) you’ll have a blast.
