• El Born - In the next segment of our bike tour, we’ll navigate through the lively Born district, celebrated for its narrow streets and rich history. We’ll visit Barcelona’s oldest train station and the historic Born Market, a landmark that showcases the city’s deep-rooted culture.
• Parc de la Ciutadella - Discover Barcelona’s oldest park, adorned with stunning Gaudí designs. Explore the key areas constructed for the 1888 Universal Exposition, immersing yourself in the city’s rich history and architectural splendor.
• Arc de Triomf - Cycle through the iconic Arc de Triomf and explore the nearby Parc de l’Estació del Nord. Immerse yourself in the area’s rich history and beautiful surroundings, reflecting Barcelona’s architectural and cultural evolution.
• Eixample - We’ll ride through the ever-evolving Eixample district, passing through the dynamic Glòries area. This developing neighborhood offers breathtaking views of the Sagrada Familia and features the iconic Torre Glòries, a modern architectural landmark that stands out against Barcelona’s skyline.
• El Poblenou - We’ll pedal through the charming Poblenou district, where the bustling Rambla is lined with family-owned shops and century-old businesses. Along the way, we’ll visit one or two hidden, centuries-old spots, depending on availability—local treasures rarely seen by tourists and not found in any guidebooks. Here, we’ll also take a break to enjoy a typical local drink, recharging before continuing our journey through this vibrant neighborhood.
• Costa de Barcelona - Next, we’ll cycle along one of Barcelona’s lesser-known beaches, where locals come to enjoy outdoor sports and relax by the sea. This newer, quieter stretch of beach offers a more peaceful atmosphere, with wide promenades and plenty of space to take in the beautiful coastline, away from the usual tourist crowds.
• Port Olimpic - We’ll then cycle through the Olympic Port, an area that was transformed for the 1992 Summer Olympics. As we pass by the iconic Olympic Village, you’ll get a glimpse of the legacy of the Games and the lively atmosphere where the city’s maritime energy meets vibrant nightlife. From here, we’ll start heading back towards Ciutat Vella, soaking in the waterfront views as we make our way back to the heart of Barcelona.
• La Barceloneta - We’ll now ride through the iconic Barceloneta neighborhood, before making our way back to the meeting point. Along the way, you’ll have experienced some of the city’s lesser-known areas, leaving with a unique and different memory of Barcelona, far from the typical tourist spots.
