Known as one of Gaudí’s renowned masterpieces in Barcelona, the Sagrada Familia is an enormous Basilica in progress since 1882 and its completion date is yet to be determined. The Park Güell was started in 1900, when Count Eusebi Güell purchased a hillside covered in trees (which was then outside Barcelona’s city limits), commissioning Gaudí to design a small city of homes for the affluent surrounded by landscaped gardens.
