Barcelona in a day. - Rodriguez was one of the best, most knowledgeable guides I have ever had, you could tell he had a real passion for the city of Barcelona and Catalonia. Thank you Rodriguez, I learned a lot and had a great time.

Wow, what an amazing experience! - This tour was one of the best we ever had. Sergio, our guide, was simply amazing; very knowledgeable, very entertaining and great at taking care of all. We will never see Barcelone the same again!
Highly recommended tour, specially with Sergio, and a must for a quick understanding of Barcelona Gothic quarters and the amazing La Sagrada Familia.

Excellent day in Barcelona! - Everything about this tour was top notch: all communications and questions were promptly answered, directions and pricing were clear, and of course, the tour itself was fantastic. Our guide, Sergio, was outstanding. He was sensitive to the needs of the seniors in our group, built in sufficient time for breaks in the extremely hot weather, and kept the kids engaged and laughing at his jokes. Sergio provided us with the history of Barcelona and all of the sites we visited over the full day tour and answered all of our questions. He also provided great suggestions for lunch and other useful tips. The convenience of skip the line tickets, private bus transfer across the city to multiple sites, and a guided tour made the experience so much more valuable and was well worth the price. We have been on many shore excursions over the years and this was definitely one of the best ones. Don't miss it!

Five Star Tour! - We have went in 1 or 2 tours a day for 14 days over the length of our vacation and this one was our favorite by far. It was the perfect balance of town walking, bus, fun, history, and views! We could not recommend this one highly enough. Our tour guide took care of us throughout.

Sagrada Familia skip the line - Our guide, Sergio was attentive, accommodating and knowledgeable! Our tour was exactly as described! Our bus driver was excellent also! I would highly recommend this tour!

Not a shore excursion! - Although this is advertised as a shore excursion, it really isn't (unless you choose the pickup/dropoff option which is really expensive and a total ripoff--cab is much cheaper). Shore excursions are supposed to cater to the port times, and the times should be adjusted accordingly. It is not for this company. They are simply just trying to get more customers as most of the people in the tour were not on a cruise. They knew we were on a cruise as I spoke with them ahead of time, but they never once suggested that we should probably do a half day tour. I booked a full day tour, knowing I wouldn't be able to do the last activity. However, on the day of the tour, they decided to change the itinerary such that the activity I really wanted to do was now moved to the end of the day, and now I couldn't do it. This caused a lot of stress for me. They made things right by refunding me for the difference between half and full day tours. They also were still able to get me tickets for the afternoon activity I wanted to do (which were otherwise sold out). However, the company needs to be more cognizant of cruise schedules and making sure the tour works. In addition, the company (Explore Catalunya) does not have whatsapp so you can talk to them without being charged international calling fees. So everything is via messaging through Viator which is very difficult because you don't get any notifications when you get a message.
The half day tour itself was great! Nestor was a great tour guide. He gave a good walking tour of the Gothic quarter and La Sagrada.
So a 5 for Nestor but a 2-3 for Explore Catalunya.

Great tour but expensive! - This is a great tour but didn’t rank higher because it was extremely expensive for our family of four. We did not read the fine print and didn’t realize til we got to tour start that it didn’t include the cost of the tickets to Sagrada Familia and Park Güell so that cost extra. Since we had to be picked up from the cruise terminal and dropped off as well (tour actually started in city center) the total cost was over $600! Buyer beware.
