Circle to the Museu del Frederic Marès where the famous fountain stands. Prepare for stories about fountains adorned with blooms, dancing eggs, fire-breathing devils, and the intriguing tale of a girl who was thrown down a hill inside a barrel full of blades!

At the location of the Kiss of Freedom mural, listen to love and victory stories that inspire the locals’ most romantic day.

Huge-headed giants are frequently seen marching the Catalonia streets. When not in public, they rest at La Casa dels Entremesos.

To conclude, you’ll be introduced to the unusual Christmas customs of the Catalan people. Their unique approach to celebrating the holiday season is sure to surprise you.

Fun sites and stories - This was a fun walking tour. We saw quirky, interesting sites that we wouldn't have found on our own and came away with a nice introduction to Catalan culture. Our guide, Eoghan, was very animated,  entertaining, and enthusiastic. He kept his composure when a drunk woman heckled him on the street. He told us stories as we walked along and we had a great afternoon.

Well done tour through the Born and Gothic Quarter, definitely recommend - Our guide was very nice and explained the catalan Traditions in understandable English, we walked through the city and saw different buildings. The small number of participants (only four) made the experience more personal and interesting. He was a good story teller everyone would like to listen to. Overall, I definitely don’t regret taking part in this experience.

Funny tour through the Gothic and Born quarter - The Guide was very kind and funny, he told interesting stories and spoke easy to understand. The trip included a visit to also less known places in Barcelona and the walk was very informative. If you want to learn about the background of catalonian traditions this is something I strongly recommend. Definitely a experience that keeps in remembrance and you learn about some funny things you can tell your friends and relatives.
