Escape the heat of the city and the busy Barcelona beaches to join a refreshing fun-filled marine biology excursion. Travel along the Costa Brava in the beautiful northern region of Catalonia for an exciting day of Kayaking and Snorkeling in the crystal clear Mediterranean Sea.
Our Kayaking and Cave snorkeling tour is a 6 hour return day trip (approx 1 hour’s drive per direction to/ from kayaking site). The trip includes transport to and from the Costa Brava where you will be fitted out with the kayak and snorkeling equipment, a picnic lunch and water on return to shore, allowing you some free time to chill out on the beautiful white sandy beach before heading back into the heart of Barcelona!

- All participants must be competent swimmers

Fantastic day - Great fun kayaking and snorkeling. Costa Brava was beautiful and guides were friendly and helpful. Kayaking was relatively straightforward even at a beginner level

Must do - I did this with my boyfriend and we both agreed that this was the highlight of our time in Barcelona - we both had never done it before so we loved it. The only recommendation I have is for the guides to show people how to use the snorkelling gear but overall we had a great time!

Bravo Costa Brava - Great trip. Just over a hour to get to the beach. Kayaking was smooth and water was so clear! Teenagers had a great time cliff jumping! Would definitely recommend.

Fun way to experience the beach - Instructions of where to meet were clear and got on the bus as scheduled. Mara met us at the meeting point and was our guide kayaking/snorkelling. She made the day easy and fun. Cliff jumping (optional) was my son’s favourite. We stopped at 3 different points to snorkel/swim. Our bags were left in a locked bin. It was a great day!

Great trip! - The meeting place was a lovely old tapas bar and so quaint! The staff were so kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The bus was comfortable and clean. The instructors were so helpful and made it a wonderful trip. The scenery on the drive was gorgeous and the staff gsve us interesting facts about the town. There was one participant who was very mean and tried arguing with the staff causing us to miss the cliff diving portion of the excursion but it was not the instructors' fault. This guest was so unruly and insistent on making everything stop so he could argue. The remainder of the trip was fantastic. I loved it and highly recommend this excursion.

Super fun - I travelled with Travel Brilliant, where Santi was our group (Kayak) guide. Here is my experience: Awesome. It was a 3-4 hour kayaking, snorkeling and cliff jumping experience. Santi was an excellent and friendly guide. This group charged us some 15USD less than other similar groups. We travelled from Barcelona to Costa Brava in a very comfortable AC Bus. We were divided into groups of roughly 10/12. 2 people in 1 kayak. There were people of diverse nationality which made the journey more fun. Two points of caution for future travelers. One, you may take the water shoes offered at 10 Euros by the hosts. I did not and sea urchins hurt my foot. They do not upsell the shoes, but it would saved me the pain. Two, knowing good swimming would help you enjoy the snorkeling and cliff jumping. Although, Kayaking alone is still super fun.

Good tour - It was a good day. It took about 1.5hrs to get to Costa Brava and then we got straight into kayaking. We kayaked and snorkelled at 2 places, and gave us an opportunity to cliff jump at one of the places if we felt like it. We were out on the water for about 2hrs in total. Got given a decent sandwich, little snack and water, then headed back.
This tour is simply as it says, kayak and snorkel. If you’re expecting anything else (eg. Information about the area, etc) this is not the tour for that. **Also if you want the free sangria at the end of the tour you NEED to ask them otherwise they’ll won’t mention it to you and you’ll miss out.

Great time snorkeling - Spent a great day just snorkeling with guides support, all team very polite and easy-going. Not a 5, something to consider, there should be a fruit included in the pic-nic.

Fun on the water - I love kayaking and the water, so this was the perfect experience. We kayaked, snorkeled, swam, and had the option to cliff jump (do it). There was a slight weather delay, but overall it was fun. But, I might suggest doing a longer option :)
