Super cute day trip - Really beautiful locations! Neat clear bottom boat ride. Good amount of free time for beaching and dining. The tour guide, Marta was very friendly and explained things. She made sure no one was left behind.

Excellent guide made all the difference! - By far the most memorable part of our experience was our tour guide Elena Hernando. She was very knowledgeable, very open to questions and most important kept the group on time while at the same time giving the participants some flexibility. We were a family of 6 ranging in age from 25-79. I am NOT a tour person, prefering to go on my own, loving to take photos. It is my experience that many tour guides frown when I stray to take photos, but Elena did not, even letting me know of good photo ops. My husband, being the oldest and less fit of the group was having a hard time with one of the walks and she found him a place where he could stay and that was on our way back down so he could rejoin the group then. The time in each place was enough, the boat ride from one town to the next was lovely and the bus very comfortable and on time. I highly recommend this tour to others and if you can ask for Elena, our tour was in spanish and english and there were two tour quides, being bilingual we went with the spanish group on the land tours. The other tour guide was lovely too.

Do the tour yourself !! - Unfortunately it was raining the morning of our tour and we were having trouble getting a car quickly to get to the bus station. After several attempts to contact our guide with no response we arrived to the station 2 minutes late and the guide informed us that they had to leave us. I understand not waiting but it would have been nice for him to respond while I was messaging him 30 minutes prior to start time so we could have avoided going in the rain. Anyways, we decided to book tickets ourselves and I'm so happy we did!! We did the tour in the opposite way and took a bus to tossa de mar first which was stunning and there is an information center just outside the bus station where we got a map and a nice explanation of how to walk to the beach and see the adorable charming city. We made our way through the castle and were so happy to NOT be part of the tours we saw which were packed with people and moving very slowly. We made our way down to the small beach to the right of the castle (not the larger one on the left of castle) this was divine! We rented chairs and enjoyed some sangria for an hour on the beach at our own leisure. We then took the water ferry (the same one the tour comes off from lorret de mar) over to lloret de mar and we were the ONLY people on it!! It was incredible!! We actually saw our tour coming off the boat at this point. We arrived at lorret de mar and had lunch it was cute but not as nice as Tossa so I recommend doing this trip yourself and with Tossa first! We then walked to the bus station and took a bus back to Barcelona. We were so pleased to have not been on this tour. I recommend doing this day trip without a tour. It was an incredible day!
