Great trip, but clearer advance communication a MUST for this one. - This was the second trip we did with In Out Barcelona Tours and our guide, Gaspar, was exceptionally knowledgeable about Dali, about art, and about the region, giving us insider information and an excellent experience beyond that which we would have had just going through the museum ourselves. While our guide was knowledgeable, there was an unfortunate lack of communication by In Out Tours, which led to confusion. We knew that tickets to the Dali Museum & Dali House were not included. However, the description of the trip does not make clear that the tour guide will buy the tickets for you - and that he must be paid in CASH (Euros.) Someone could easily go on line, buy their own tickets - which would lead to even greater difficulties. It was not until 9:45 pm on the night before the tour (which left at 8:30 am on a Saturday from our hotel) that we learned of the need to pay for the tickets (17 EU each person for EACH location) in cash to our guide. We were completely unprepared for this, and in Cadaques, I had to take time to try to find an ATM to withdraw cash. (Luckily I had my bank debit card which I never use, but I opted to bring at the last minute, or I would have been unable to withdraw cash.) Although the exchange rate was $1.09 - 1 EU, I wound up having to pay substantially more plus a service fee just to get the cash. Since we were a large group, this was a large unexpected cash outlay, so all of us were unprepared. Suggestion: Let people know that while the trip per person cost excludes entrance fees, there should be a confirming email sent at least one week in advance, advising of the ticket cost and the need to repay the guide in cash. This would avoid problems. Also: there was a mix of seniors and adults in our group, but we were charged one fixed price by the guide (even though the Dali Museum website offers a discount for seniors.)

Dali Museum & Cadaques - My friend and I had an unforgettable day tour from Barcelona to the Salvador Dalí Museum, Dalí's house, and Cadaqués, thanks to our amazing guide, Anatoli. He picked us up from our hotel, ensuring a smooth and stress-free start. Throughout the day, he impressed us with his deep knowledge, captivating us with fascinating details and anecdotes about Dalí and the region. His ability to make the information both accessible and interesting truly enhanced our experience. Our guide was not only informative but also incredibly polite and considerate, making sure we were comfortable and engaged the entire time. His enthusiasm and personable nature made the tour both educational and incredibly fun. We left with a deeper appreciation for Dalí's work and a memorable experience we will always cherish. Highly recommended!

Core memories, plenty of laughs, unforgettable! - Anatoli was so well informed and passionate about Dali and the local culture! We were so glad to have him explain the lore behind Dali’s paintings, museum and house, as the experience would have been way less enchanting without the stories behind them! He let us have plenty of time to ourselves also, as to explore Cadaques and Figueres at our own pace,, which let us form our own more intimate memories/ impressions with these spots! Anatoli was very attentive, very time efficient and so friendly and funny. Couldn’t have gotten a better guide!

Our guide Anatoli was the best!! A must do activity when visiting Barcelona! - It was very comfortable being picked up from the hotel. And also not dealing with the transport to Figueres and Cadaques and not waiting in the line or buying the tickets for museum and the house. But apart from these the trip was very informative about Dali and Barcelona. Without that information it would not be the same. Thanks to our guide Anatoli, he was the best!!

Highly recommended - Ventura was a great guide,it was a wonderful experience. We were picked up on time at our hotel, and it was very convenient. It is an easy and comfortable ride.

A Surreal Trip Not To Be Missed - A perfect tour! Matt shared his extensive knowledge in a way that was fun and memorable. In both Gerona and the Dali Museum, he first gave a guided tour and then freedom to explore with a greater understanding.

From Girona to Dali! - Matt was an informed and engaging guide. Girona was magnificent and the Dali museum in Figueres is not to be missed. An excellent day, highly recommended!

Impossible to contact for cancellation - buyer beware - I booked this tour which was free cancellation up to 24 hours prior with no response. I have emailed the company six times, and their phone line is inactive. There is no other way to contact them, so that's $600 I will never see again.
