Cinnamon Roll - The blue tones are a reminiscents of the Bleu Majorelle in Marrakech, but as a correction there is no yoghurt cake in the winter session, instead you get a cinnamon roll, which is absolutely first class.

Highly recommended! - An incredibly beautiful building, you should definitely take a guided tour or use an audio guide. The route around the house is very conveniently and clearly organized. It is better to buy tickets in advance.

Fell in love - An absolute jewel in the city of Barcelona. Being Gaudi's first house, it is very different from the more popular Casa Batlo in style, but this makes it an even better experience. Would 100 percent reccomend. We went there by foot, and the neighbouring houses are also lovely. At the end of the visit we were also gifted a delicious -and very fulfilling- cake: such a great memory!

Breathtaking building excellent staff - The building is beautiful, but the highlight for me was the staff. They were so helpful and so knowledgeable, and were really attentive. It was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Very good - It is a beautiful house with detailed decorations inside and outside. A very unique place. The young people working there are extremely nice and helpful. We found the entrance fee expensive (19€ discount price), it is a small house. However we do recommend the visit.

Not to be missed! - It was such an amazing experience! The house is something incredible, full of lovely details and so uncommon architectural features. The audio guide is also very good. So…you can’t miss casa vicens !

Beautiful house, unkind staff - This house is one of the most beautiful in the world. Unfortunately the staff ruined my experience for me, especially for me being the first time in Barcelona. I took one selfie in one of the rooms and the second I took off my mask a guard came over and told me to put it on again (!) I was even startled, and he did not ask politely. No where were there signs saying leave on a mask for selfies. At Casa Mila you are allowed to take off you mask for a photo, but here apparently not?
I was given instructions to collect my rose petal yogurt cake (that I didn't even know I ordered online) and because the cafe was closed I could pick it u in the shop. The person behind the counter unceremoniously whacked it on the counter, breaking hte rosepetals. It was such a shame because the cake was promised to be a thing of beauty, and matched with Gaudi...
Then all I wanted to do was sit down in the gardens and take in the beauty of the house, I was very hungry from the whole tour, so took out the only thing I had to eat - an apple - and sat on one of the many exterior trellis tables and chairs. No one (not one person) was there, except for another guard 5 meters away. Suddenly he gets an alert in his ear piece and I see another female guard at the window and he comes over to me saying I am not allowed to eat (!). It was insane. Again, there were no signs anywhere. And I was famished.
These human experiences really gave a bitter taste in my mouth. I am very sorry about this, as it had been my dream to see this. The staff need a huge lesson in dealing with guests in a compassionate and humane way.
