Additional Information

The goal of this day trip is to take you away from the hustle and bustle of Barcelona and, to let you enjoy the Mediterranean breeze. This experience has been designed for the outdoors, art, and nature lovers.
As soon as we leave Barcelona we immerse ourselves in the Catalan countryside. The first stop is Girona (Game of Thrones?). A perfect mix of history, architecture, and…food! We will take a nice stroll through the narrow streets of the Old Town and the Roman Walls.
Right after we will move into the Catalan Countryside, we deserve to be surrounded by nature. The second stop is Peratallada, probably the most charming and less-known medieval village in the Empordà region. A nice stroll around and a few pictures later we will take you for lunch at Calella de Palafrugell, an old fishing village formed by several coves that still preserve the charm of the villages of the area, with narrow streets and some traditional two-floor fishermen’s dwellings.

An amazing tour! - We booked this tour through Get Your Guide and Daniel, our tour guide, was amazing! He was friendly but professional and so knowledgeable. The tour itself is great and well worth the money. We visited 3 different cities and all of them were beautiful and unique in their own way. We loved the tour and our tour guide, Daniel. It was a great day!

I would choose this company again - Guide Antoine is French and speaks several languages, has a very interesting intellectual background for having toured the world, plus a university career in geography, which gives him speak clearly and precisely and everything puts humor. A hundred times I would choose them again! Very serious undertaking

Must do!! - Must do whenever you visit Barcelona! Explore beyond the city and be surprised by magical places, tasty food and beautiful views. Carlos and Nando were wonderful hosts making us feel like friends since the beginning…knowledgeable, flexible, friendly and taking our group photos so that we could enjoy every moment. This was a private tour which was held in Spanish since not everyone is fluent in English and the company picked the best to host us. Book it!!

It's been an exciting journey from start to finish. - It was a great time. The fresh orange juice I drank for breakfast (orange fresh juice) was delicious and unforgettable. He explained the surrounding scenery and culture throughout the trip, and I thought he had a lot of knowledge. The places we walked around together were very scenic and exciting throughout. The last part of the Costa Brava, where all the beaches are pebbles, was another surprise. He is also a very friendly guide, very caring and if you are interested in this tour, please join us.

The perfect day - The best tour I’ve ever been on! We were able to explore two adorable cities (one was a village) and learn so much history while eating a local snack provided by the tour company. We ended the day with a swim in the sea. Our guide Fabrizio was so personable and friendly. He worked hard to mingle with everyone and the small group allowed us to feel a connection with the other travelers. The amount of structure and free time given was perfect. Book this trip!

Book it! - One of the best excursions we have ever done. Antoine was our guide and it was like traveling with a close friend. This was the highlight of our Barcelona stay. First stop Girona was fantastic, so interesting and Antione did a great job telling us all about it. The next stop was the medieval village which was beautiful and had great Sandria. We finally stopped at a beautiful beach on the Costa Del Sol. My only advice is to book this trip, it was amazing!

They cancelled the trip - very disappointed - They cancelled the day before the trip as not enough people had booked. It was not made clear anywhere that this might happen. They did refund the money however.
