Fantastic experience - Christian was a wonderful hiking tour guide. The experience was wonderful with views of wild mountain goats and mountain climbers, and unique views of the dramatic landscape. Christian was very knowledgeable about all aspects of both the mountain and monastery. The monastery was strikingly beautiful. I highly recommend this tour

An amazing experience for people who love to hike and enjoy nature! - We had an amazing time despite the heat! Probably a little more enjoyable during the cooler months but still glad we did it. An umbrella would have been nice to bring for more shade. It's quite a steep hike up and down so be prepared for that (lots of stairs on the way down). But the sights are so worth it!! Tour end timing was flexible as well which we appreciated so we didn't feel rushed at all.

Great experience with added plus for graduates of Jesuit schools - My wife, 16yo son and I loved our tour with Ramon of Montserrat and the monastery. Booking was super easy, the meeting spot was easy to find and getting driven there and back was very convenient. Ramon shared a lot of great local info, provided a bunch of great snacks and took great photos for us! As a graduate of a Jesuit high school, I was pleasantly surprised to learn about St Ignatius laying down his sword at the monastery and deciding to start the Jesuit order right then. So while I was more excited about the hike than the monastery, I appreciated the monastery portion of the experience much more than I thought I would. Knowing my Jesuit connection, Ramon also suggested a small church near the meeting spot where I could see the actual sword St Ignatius had laid down at the altar of the Black Madonna. Ramon is a great guide, has a good sense of humor and made it a great overall experience. Highly recommended!!

Great Trek - We really enjoyed this tour. The tour guide was very helpful (English could be better). The trek is not for infirm or faint of heart. We walked around 5 miles going up and coming back some steep terrain. Trails unlike US trails is not idiot proof (no ropes or barriers for treacherous sections) for stretches and can lead to slips/slides. Our group was mostly young and relatively fit. The views from top are fantastic. Monastery is very beautiful as well but the mountain and surroundings are the main draw. Spain is blessed with fantastic cathedrals, buildings and towns and on its own the Monastery won't make the top charts. If you are in Barcelona, this is a great half day trip. You can do the Monastery on your own by using public transport (parking gets very busy if you plan to drive).

Refreshing - We started with the wine tour. It was very much focused on how this winery, Albet i Noya, has chosen to make their wine. From the ecological practices to the science of how to avoid losing crops to fungi, it was all interesting and informative. They could really be on to some exciting innovations! The wine is wonderful. We got to try their sparking wine, which just won top prize. After drinking our last glass and enjoying our snacks, we went on the hike. It's a really nice loop - not difficult at all but refreshing . The vews were lovely of the vinyards, hills, trees, and mountains. Overall, well worth the time and money. Buen provecho!
