It was great! Paella was... - It was great! Paella was delicious and the tour of the market and cooking experience were fun. Both people were friendly and knowledgeable. The eating area was slightly cold but we also went in January.

Cooking Paella. Enjoying family time in a wonderful atmosphere - Incredible family experience with two talented women who taught us not just how to cook paella, but also the importance of savoring every moment together as a family.

Excellent cooking class experience in Barcelona! - We booked this cooking class experience for our 1st night in Barcelona, as it offered a combination of two must-do things: Mercat de la Boqueria and Paella! This is a great way to spend an evening here, and a bonus that we were not out super late for dinner after a long day of traveling. The class was fun and informative, and the meal was perfect.

The experience was... - The experience was exceptional. I sent my feedback the day after my experience. Maia was a very good teacher. I loved the hands on experience and learning about the differences between the paella in Valencia and Barcelona. I also received good tips on how to make Sangria. Since I was the only student we had time to visit about other topics in addition to the focus of the class which was wonderful, giving me the opportunity to learn more about Spain in general and Barcelona in more detail.

Two thumbs up - Chef Andrea was great, took us to the fish market to buy ingredients and then we had a great time preparing the paella. Our group of 5 had a lot of fun and enjoyed getting to know each other over a great meal. Highly recommended to anyone and everyone!

Cooking Class Disappointment - This class was super disappointing. First of all, we were supposed to go to the market and pick up our food and when we met, we were told that the market was closed (it was xmas eve) so the instructor picked up the food earlier. We should have been informed of that, as they knew the market would be closed - this did not come as any surprise to them. Also - we were supposed to learn how to make tapas as well, which we didn't do. AND - there was a very small meat & cheese platter that didn't feed all of us (there were 13 people in total). The instructor was great, the food was average - it was WAY too fishy and no one in our group enjoyed. The wine was delicious. Overall it was a fun experience, but definitely not worth the money.
