• Barcelona - 8:30 AM The tour begins as we depart from Barcelona. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the journey!

Hotel pickups are scheduled between 8:00 and 8:30 AM (approximately 30 minutes), followed by a 60-minute drive to our first stop.

• L’Eixample District - As we leave the city, we pass through this renowned area, known for its landmarks and stunning architecture.
• Hostalric Castle - Upon exiting the highway, we enter a protected nature reserve with a castle landscape. The first sight is the magnificent medieval Hostalric Castle, historically linked to the castle we will visit. Your guide will provide some historical context as we pass by, offering a delightful introduction to local history.
• Parc Natural del Montseny - After just an hour’s drive, we find ourselves in a lush environment with mountains and charming villages, known as Montseny Nature Park. Here, we catch our first glimpse of Montsoriu Castle, majestically situated atop Montsoriu Hill.
• Castle of Montsoriu - 9:30 AM Arrival! We will park at the base of Montsoriu Hill and begin our ascent. This invigorating morning hike, reminiscent of the knights and warriors of old, will take about 40 minutes and is a fantastic way to start the day. At the summit, breathtaking views await, perfect for memorable photos. After a refreshing breath of mountain air, we will explore the castle’s history and archaeology. (Please note, the castle is open for guided tours only on Saturdays and Sundays.) Our visit will last about an hour, providing a solid foundation for our tour. Afterwards, we will enjoy an easy descent back to the car.
• Arbucies - 12:30 PM Lunch: After a morning of history and hiking, it’s time to indulge in a traditional Catalonian meal! A 30-minute drive through Montseny Nature Park brings us to a hidden gem just outside Arbúcies—a unique restaurant nestled in a 15th-century mill in the woods. It’s an authentic and enchanting experience.
• Girona - 3:00 PM Post-lunch, we relax and enjoy a scenic hour-long drive to Girona. This might be the perfect time for a little ‘siesta’. Girona is a medieval treasure with a rich history. We will embark on a comprehensive walking tour, exploring 2000 years of history and all the main attractions. Afterwards, there will be time for personal exploration or a coffee break before returning to Barcelona.
• Barcelona - 6:30 PM (approx.) - After a little over an hour’s drive, we return to Barcelona. Welcome back! We will drop you off at your accommodation, concluding the tour.
