Moco Museum Barcelona is the haven of modern and contemporary art. Located in the charming Gothic Quarter, Moco is bold, pink, disruptive and playful. Our evolving collection is a carefully curated balance between proven masters – such as Warhol, Basquiat and Banksy – and rising talent. From reality shifting light installations to contemporary Japanese sculpture.

We pride ourselves on uniting and displaying incredible works of art that would otherwise remain in private collections and unseen by the general public.

Step through the historic archway of our entrance and behold the iconic, larger than life contemporary statue! Onwards into expansive, light-filled rooms containing timeless classics by modern and contemporary artists.
Continue your journey to see the breathtaking creations of rising stars, and of course the multidimensional wonders of digital immersive art. What’s more, it all comes to life through our AR Moco Play app!

We are honoured to take you into the world of art.

Absorbing and thought provoking displays of Banksy's works - this museum is a 10! - This was a TERRIFIC museum. We spent nearly 2 hours absorbing the work by Banksy at this museum. There are excellent description "plates" in English and in Spanish detailing where the piece was displayed and additional information about the context. With so many awesome architectural sites and churches and museums in Barcelona, it takes a long time to cover everything (this visit was our 3 trip and 12th & 13th day here) and this museum was not open until 2020. So, if you are only in BCN for a few days, the Sagrada Familia and Gaudi sites will probably fill up your time, but as soon as you have 3 days or more - add a visit to Banksy!

Promising and exciting museum - Such a great and special museum, in the middle of the old city centre. We saw the Robbie Williams exhibition which was great, as well as the rest of all the cool artists, such as Banksy, KAWS and David LaChapelle.

Cute, Boutique Museum - I enjoyed the flow of the museum, more boutique style than stuffy. I was introduced to new artists and got to know more about Banksy and see an array of works.

Overpriced idiots' guide to instagrammable contemporary art - Overpriced idiots' guide to instagrammable contemporary art. If you don't know anything about the modern art scene and want to take some selfies it's great, if you have already been to a few galleries in your life, you can skip it.
