The highlight of our trip to Barcelona! - We had the most amazing experience on our wine and tapas tour with the wonderful MJ as our guide! Despite the not so great weather on the day, Monserrat was truly breathtaking and it was incredibly insightful to learn about the monks and nuns, learning of their way of life up there and how Monserrat came to be. MJ made us all feel so welcome and included, making us all laugh and smile throughout the tour. You could really see her passion for the Catalonian history and culture shine through. The winery was a particular highlight of the tour, and the intimate tasting room for our group allowed us to all get to know each other well, so much so that we were all mingling and enjoying wine and each other’s conversation by the end. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore amazing scenery outside of Barcelona for the day. Thank you MJ!!

NOT TO MISS - Montserrat, we wish we'd had more time to walk around all the trails etc. Fabulous place to visit. The winery although we enjoyed the tasting, the food and the expert oratory from Lesly, the wines were just not to our taste.

Amazing Laura - Laura did an incredible job on the tour and the winery visit. Her enthusiasm was amazing as was her knowledge of everything. Laura was not supposed to be our original guide, but we lucked out with getting Laura.

Great tour - I’m not usually a huge fan of guided tours but this one was really great. Air conditioned bus from Barcelona to Monserrat. Our guide, Susana, was excellent - very knowledgeable and a great sense of humor. We also had some time to explore on our own before heading to Oller del Mas winery for lunch and a wine tasting. The wine and food were delicious. Overall, we felt like the tour was an incredible value for everything that was included in the cost.

Not a great day.... - Not sure how to rate this trip. The weather in Montserrat was abysmal, absolutely no fault of the tour company, but with that said I think it cloud my enjoyment. We only had about 10 minutes in the basilica and we didn't get to see the Black Madonna which was super disappointing. We had an hour of free time which really isn't a lot considering. Even on a a beautiful day it doesn't feel like it would be enough time. There was also some confusion (on my end) about the meeting point. It would definitely make more sense to have everyone meet by the buses/bathroom at the end of the free time. Would be less confusing. The winery was ok as was the tapas. The highlight were the guides. They were super friendly and knowledgeable. It's an ok tour but there are probably better out there.

It was ok… - Not sure how to rate this trip. The weather in Montserrat was abysmal, obviously not the fault of the tour operator, but with that said I think it clouded my enjoyment. We only had about 10 minutes in the basilica and we didn’t get to see the Black Madonna which was super disappointing. We had an hour of free time which really isn’t a lot considering. They also need to pick a better meeting point when leaving, like I don’t know, back where you get off the bus in front of the toilets. Would create less confusion. The winery was ok as was the tapas. I will say all the guides were fantastic!! Very friendly and super nice. Go with caution…you may have a better time.
