We trek to the summit, taking in the breathtaking panoramas of the Montserrat Natural Park and the surrounding Catalan landscape from an aerial perspective.
On our hike, we tread the same trails that pilgrims have for centuries, becoming enchanted by Montserrat’s intriguing mix of plants and animals and coming to appreciate the unique topography of the area, where rock towers and gorges reveal the hidden springs that burst forth from the massif’s core.
Subsequently, we make our way to the stables to partake in a memorable horseback ride through the magnificent landscapes of Montserrat’s National Park. We traverse a path taking us past three Romanesque hermitages, all the while marveling at the singular craggy peaks of this mountain range.
