Beautiful views just outside the city - Gus (and the driver) made sure everything about the tour was comfortable and enjoyable. The drive to Montserrat was picturesque and upon arrival there was so much to take in and see. The afternoon meant we got to see a beautiful sunset without the large crowds. We even got to listen to the monks choir before we left!

Unexpected, surreal experience with Oscar Issac. - Yerai is a wonderful guide with an uncanny resemblance to Oscar Isaac. It’s like the tour being led by Duke Atreides. Make sure to take a selfie with Llewyn Davis himself. He has a wonderful mastery of the history of Barcelona, Spain and the Galaxy. Make sure to ask about the struggles of the Rebel Alliance as well as the Moorish influences on Barcelona. All in all, an unexpected, surreal experience at Montserrat.

Great experience in the mountains! - Amazing experience all around. We've got the chance to experience hiking, farmers' food and one of the deepest spiritual connection with a stunning place. That's especially thanks to our guide Bel, very passionate, warm and caring of all the needs of each participant. She's not just a well-prepaired guide and an excellent driver but also a genuine ambassador of Catalan's culture!

Great tour with Gus! - Our family had a great time on this tour. Going in the afternoon was lovely so it wasn’t so hot! Also it wasn’t crowded at all and we got to see the choir of monks. Gus was a great guide sharing just the right amount of detail to keep everyone engaged.

Fun, historical and informative - I had an amazing time in Montserrat. Aline was awesome, she told us all about the history of Barcelona and Montserrat and gave us really good recommendations after the tour as well. History can be boring, but Aline made it sound fun and interesting! 100% recommend this tour :)

Highly recommend - ask for Ivan! - IMO the quality of the guide = the quality of the tour. Ivan was made for this. So good. Otherwise, this was perhaps our favorite thing we did on our recent trip to Spain. Scenery was incredible. Not Catholic, but the visit for Mass was a moving, spiritual experience. Book it!

Amazing afternoon at Montserrat - We chose the afternoon tour to avoid crowds and it did well. Besides our tour was unexpectedly private because we were the only participants. Our guide Gus was very nice and helpful, gave us a lot of information about history of Montserrat and Barcelona as well as useful advice where to go and how to use our time there to maximum. Although the weather was not perfect (rainy, stormy, with a little bit of sun) we managed short walk to the St. Michaels Cross and admired wonderfull views of the monastery and surrounding mountains. I need to mention the excellent lady driver who drove our bus on the narrow mountin roads to Montserrat and back even in the heavy rain. Choir of monks singing during the mass in the Basilica just topped off this mystical experience.

Don't miss breathtaking Montserrat - We are beyond happy we decided on a last minute tour to Montserrat. There were so many highlights, the first being our amazing, knowledgeable and delightful guide Mariana. We loved learning the history from a guide with deep Catalan roots. The Bascilica is moving and stunning and the natural beauty surrounding it are breathtaking. We highly recommend this tour with Mariana. Loved going in the evening for 4 hours.
