*Please note that on Saturdays and Sundays, tour delays may occur due to increased visitor numbers at the monastery.

- The visit to the Moreneta is not guaranteed, it is subject to availability and depending on the season, as there may be up to 2hrs of queue.
- Due to horse safety restrictions, anyone with a weight above 95 KG or below 12 years of age won’t be allowed to join this activity
- There is a minimum of people required to operate the tour. In the event that this minimum is not met, customers will be offered an alternative date, another tour of equal or superior value, or a full refund.
- There is a minimum of people required to operate on languages that are not English or Spanish. if this minimum is not reached, the tour will be offered in English.
- Tour may be affected due to special circumstances
- On Saturdays and Sundays there may be delays in the tour due to the high number of visitors to the monastery.
- The maximum number of people allowed per tour is 8. If the group has more than 8 participants, it will be splitted in two different groups, alternating the order of the activity.

Lovely horses - I had a beautiful experience. The whole day was very well planned and we didn’t need to worry about anything.
Our guide Roger shared insightful stories, information and tips about the place and made the experience more worthy.
The horseriding seemed scary to me at the beginning because I am beginner but it was easy and relaxing instead. I recommend it for someone with no prior experience.

Unique way to experience Montserrat - The whole day was planned very well, everything went smoothly and we had an amazing experience. Roger gave us so much info about Montserrat and made sure we had many options on what to do with our free time of the tour. Definitely recommend this tour!

Fun horsies - Katiya was an amazing tour guide and Laura (the woman that handled the horses) was very professional and courteous. My partner and I had an amazing time riding horsies and visiting Mont Serrat. Highly recommend checking out this experience if time permits.

City break - Super day travelling to Montserrat with our guide Carlos. We first did a horseback ride at a ranch at the base of the mountain followed by a train ride up to the monestary. Such a unique day - definitely recommended if you are in Barcelona and want a break from the city hustle.

Beautiful - We had an amazing tour with Carlos!!! The horses were so beautiful and kind. The views were immaculate. Carlos provided great explanation of the church it was super interesting.

The best way to experience a beautiful place - This was the highlight of my stay in Barcelona and my husband surprised me by saying the same thing (even though he's usually a little nervous around horses!). Two ranch hands accompanied us on the ride, Laura and a man whose name I've forgotten. They were very friendly and knowledgeable, and you will be in safe hands with them even if you've never ridden before. The mountain scenery was beautiful, especially in the morning light. The horses themselves were obviously well trained, well looked after, and happy in their jobs. Laura explained that as trainers they adhere to the principles of natural horsemanship, which fascinates me, but unfortunately there wasn't time for me to ask as many questions as I would have liked - it was time to leave for the monastery of Montserrat.
Our guide Lukas gave us a very informative and engaging overview of the shrine's history. He kept it concise so we had time to explore and pray by ourselves, which we appreciated. The views from the mountain are breathtaking and we could have spent hours just looking out. There is a beautiful little chapel in the basilica reserved for silent prayer, with a wall carving of Christ that I found very moving. Unfortunately we hadn't realised that separate entry fees are charged for different parts of the complex and our basilica tickets weren't valid for the museum or to ascend the steps to Our Lady of Montserrat, but this wasn't the tour company's fault. Be prepared to pay extra if you want to explore the whole shrine.
The trip was well organised and everything went smoothly and on time. Parts of the day did feel a little rushed, and it could have been improved by adding an extra hour or so, but overall it was a lovely day and we would recommend this tour company.
