Find another company with better customer service for when things go wrong - Seems like when things go right this tour is fine…but my review has to do with how things are handled when things don’t go right. First of all, the meeting point for this excursion was not explicit in the email. There are multiple Julia Travel locations in the city; we went to the wrong one and had to take a taxi 10 min away to get to the correct location and almost missed out tour; which may have been better. When we voiced our issue with their lack of proper direction, they simply told us, “It’s ok, you still made it!”! Clearly no plans to change that in the future to help customers find them easier! After that, we started the trip on the bus, and to no fault of their own, we were stuck in traffic from an accident for hours and the trip took 2.5hrs before we got to our destination. Unfortunately, that meant we did not get to ride the cable cars up, which was what we were going for in the first place. And because we got there so late, the black Madonna access was pointless because the line took as long to get through as the return time back to the bus; we had no free time there; and we didn’t even have time to get our free items from the shops. We were told to send our complaints to a certain email, who then gave us back less than a 1/3 of our money back. When this many things go wrong…I expect a full refund from the company. I didn’t pay $67 for hours and hours on a bus.

Rushed and Crowded - The Julia Travel Tour to Montserrat had as its number one highlight, Anna, the tour guide. Anna is very organised, professional, courteous, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The company that employs her is doing both her and the tour a disservice by having a group of 52. The advertised group size was 30 and this was ignored! A group of this size of 52, cannot see all the tour offers in the allotted time. The tour soon gets off-schedule if any individual (in an oversized tour) strays and holds up the tour. The line to the Black Madonna moved at an incredibly slow pace due to the large group size. The attractions at Monserrat speak for themselves. The tour size should be reduced and the time at Montserrat increased by 30-60 minutes so you can visit the points of interest mentioned.

Great tour, horrible ppl - You need a little bit nicer tour guides and FD personal that are willing to help people and not be in a rush to finish their "talk" so they can relax
