Very special souvenir - In this beautiful workshop I spent a very special afternoon. Guided by Melissa I was able to create a great picture, significant a triumph that I could have. Good atmosphere, and without their excellent help I would not know how to do it. Thank you very much for a very special memory.

Incredible experience! - We took a 4 hour class to create a mosaic of our logo. Not only was it a very fun and meditative experience, we absolutely love how it came out! We plan to showcase it at our future farm. The instructors and staff were amazing, and this was an incredible experience we will always cherish!

Great Class for Solo Travellers - My husband travels to Barcelona for work and this was an awesome experience for me to do alone. I have been two times now, one two hour class and one four class. The shop is small but everyone is so welcoming, especially the owner! The experience itself is so much fun but educational at the same time. Learning about Gaudi and the history of mosaics is so interesting. We are headed back to Barcelona in September and I can't wait to book another class!!!

Super Cool 2 hour activity! - It was such a great experience for all my family. I have a 7, 9, and 21 year old and they all enjoyed it. It helped them appreciate all the mosaic architecture in Barcelona. Highly recommend!

Fun art activity - If you are a hands on crafts person, this is a fun activity. Please note that there are 1, 2, and 3 hour class options, which I didn’t know. Good for all ages and the walk to class is through a very old world beautiful part of the city.

Time flies when you are creating - We enjoyed this! The instructors gave us many options for projects. They checked on us regularly...but not intrusively...and provided good advice. The time flew by!

Artsy - Great for couples or family. Lot's of fun, nice keeps sake to take home. Be aware that your mosaic will not be ready right away.

Fantastic experience!! - Fantastic experience!! I went solo, learned about trencadis, and made a design on a mirror. Tools and materials provided. Instructors were nice, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Fun and nice keepsake from Barcelona - Overall, this was a fun experience. Upon arriving, the three of us were seated at a large table with maybe 10 people total all who had booked the 10:00 time slot. All supplies were laid out and there was an outstanding collection of colored tiles are organized in bins! There were two women working there and it was a little awkward upon entering as there really wasn't a greeting and there was zero introduction like their names and welcome in to the place or any talk of how we are going to have fun creating, just came in and kind of saw the empty chairs and sat down and people chose their project. They showed us 2 or 3 options for what we wanted to make but we didn't like them and asked if there were others. They then opened a small cabinet and showed us a few. We chose vases and others then wanted the same but they had run out of them. We were hoping to make little keepsake boxes and had emailed about choices when booking and they indicated choice wasn't an issue for the four hour booking but it was indeed a bit limited. In our group, there were people who had booked 2 hour slots as well. We received very good instructions and demonstrations on how to break the tiles and place them and what order to do so. We wore glasses given to us for eye protection. The women supervised us well and kept us on track and were encouraging along the way. It was fun. It was a bit warm in there in June so bring a little handheld fan if that bothers you. Half way through, a supervisor (maybe owner) came in and the couple next to us were very optimistic with their project choice laying out intricate patterns of buildings and she came in and told them bluntly they would never complete such work in the time of the class. The couple were surprised and discouraged but kept working and we left before them so don't know how it turned out but I think someone there should have asked what designs the people were thinking about so this could have been caught early for them. So, if you are planning to do a special design, be sure to ask early and do book the longer class. We were also asked if we wanted to take a break and go get food but it wasn't clear if that would cut into our four hours and honestly, we are glad we didn't as we used over three there to complete our designs. We were then asked if we could come back the next day to pick them up but most of us needed it that evening as leaving Barcelona the next day and they were accommodating having us return between 6-7 that evening. Do know they have to do the grout finishing work so if you only have one day, book the earliest spot so you can get it back late that day! Upon return, our projects were waiting for us and the manager/owner was there and so complimentary of our work which was kind. They wrapped up each piece so carefully with bubble wrap for packing. We ended up with a great keepsake of our trip and memories of the beautiful mosaic work all around Barcelona. I would suggest this tour if you have the time and want a nice souvenir that isn't from a tourist shop, just communicate what you desire to get out of this early on. It was fun and worth it!
