Sí Chef - We started in the market and picked out fresh fish. We then headed back to the kitchen to prepare the food and learn how to make sangria at home, break down squid and muscles. Together we cooked paella while sipping sangria and making an almond cake. Ernesto was a wonderful teacher! Highly recommend this experience! We even get to keep the recipes!

Paella making is fun for everyone! - Travelled with our teenage girls and everyone had a fantastic experience. The walk to the market is easy and it is both interesting and fun to see the market up close (we will return later in our trip to eat lunch). The paella making experience is very interactive and they explain things along the way. They are great about ensuring everyone is engaged and learning how you can make paella at home. After a visit to the market, you are instructed how to make sangria (or a delicious mocktail for the kids). Next you learn to clean the fish and prepare it for the paella. They also teach you how to prepare a traditional Spanish cake made with almond flour. We had people from all over the globe in our class and everyone enjoyed themselves. I would highly recommend this experience. It is fun for all ages and the paella is delicious!

Perfect 10 - The class was a 10! It is located a couple blocks from La Boqueria and Palau Gaudi is across the street. The space was nice annd clean and the staff was welcoming and personable. The market visit was fun and easy to go back there afterwards to explore more. After getting the ingredients we were served tapas and made Red Wine Sangria which was delicious. The Paella class was easy and fun-lots of laughs and more importantly, the Paella was the best we had in Barcelona. We finished off a perfect three hours with a Torta de Santiago dessert and toasted with shots!
