SMALL GROUP EXCURSION (Up to 12 participants).

At each of these sites, you’ll gain insight into their history, the unique aspects of their designs, and understand the concepts that this renowned architect integrated into them. This exploration will bring you closer to Gaudi, offering a glimpse into the person he was and providing context to the era in Barcelona during the late 19th century to early 20th century in which he lived and worked.

  • The amount of people in our tour is smaller that in the other companies. The reasons why we like to do it this way is for you to feel closer to the guide and make a more familiar atmosphere, and besides that it also provides us the opportunity to get to know more to each other, paying more attention to the needs of each client
  • The tour will be just in English, so you won’t have to wait your turn while the guide is doing the explanation in another language
  • A maximum of 12 people per booking (private tours available with larger groups)
  • Mind that for the first part of the tour at Park Güell you will have some stairs and you will have to walk uphill

The Gaudi experience - My goodness we got lucky with the weather! When we met our guide Francisco the skies were threatening and some light rain. But this gradually gave way to sun. Lovely to see Park Güell with a light sheen of water. Tour was great, easy enough to find the meeting spot and we found a relatively easy walk to the park from Lesseps metro. Francisco was great and gave us a lot of info about the park and the Sagrada. Both sites are super impressive and worth your time. Easy to get back in to the city via the metro too.

Amazing Gaudi - What a wonderful tour of two beautiful sites. Francisco was a great guide, constantly relating Gaudi’s inspiration to what we were seeing. He also related how elements of the park sow up again in the basilica. His pride showed and he gave a very informative tour.

Don’t waste your time and money—buy tickets through the Park Guell website - If you want to ensure that you visit Park Guell during your trip to Barcelona, DO NOT buy these tickets! I highly recommend buying the tickets directly through Park Guell website for 10€ and saving your money (make sure you buy them at least 3-7 days before the day you want to visit)! My fiancé and I were running late for the tour due to issues with public transportation because of street closures related to a city-wide holiday. I called the Viator customer service number, knowing that we would be a few minutes late, 20 minutes prior to the start of the tour. The customer service representative was absolutely no help at all and was unable to contact the guide. We arrived at the meet-up location 10 minutes late, and understandably, the tour group entered the park without us. We called the customer service representative again, and she said that our tickets were no longer valid and that we would have to “find our own tickets into the park.” Tickets for Park Guell sell-out 2-3 days in advance and it is IMPOSSIBLE to buy them day-of, and Viator wasn’t even able to provide us passes to get into the park even though we had already paid $200+ for the tour. The park security and ticket kiosk people said they were not affiliated with Viator and could not honor the park passes. What made the morning even worse was that my fiancé and I waited for 2 hours for the second half of the tour to begin (Sagrada familia). It was a complete waste of time! And if you’re curious as to how the Sagrada familia half of the tour was, the best part of this package was the “Skip-the-Line” aspect. It was easy to gain entry to Sagrada familia, but the actual guided tour was only ok. The tour guide didn’t know how to speak into the microphone properly, so the speech kept cutting in and out on the headset. He did draw our attention to details of the cathedral that we wouldn’t have noticed otherwise, but provided minimal history and insight. The cathedral itself is absolutely incredible and it is definitely a must-see while in Barcelona, but consider a different tour for a better experience. But moral of the story: if you want to see Park Guell, buy the tickets through the website and it will ensure admission!
