- Plaza de Ramon Berenguer el Gran - The Gótico Food Tour begins here, guiding you through Barcelona’s renowned Ciutat Vella (old city): past ancient Roman walls, beside cathedrals, through charming plazas, and most importantly, in-and-out of quaint, local eateries that will leave you satisfied, cheerful, and with a deeper appreciation of local Catalan and Spanish cuisine.
- Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar - On our way between dining spots, we will encounter many significant landmarks in the Gothic Quarter, including the “Catedral Del Mar”, constructed between 1329 and 1383, showcasing an outstanding example of Catalan Gothic architecture.
- Muralla Romana - We will also pass by remnants of Barcelona’s Roman city wall (Muralla Romana), primarily built in the 3rd century to defend against invaders.
- Gothic Quarter (Barri Gotic) - Our entire tour revolves around the Gothic Quarter, the oldest section of Barcelona. Its maze-like streets, many leading to hidden squares, are now mostly pedestrian-friendly. It’s a perpetually captivating neighborhood, home to excellent shops and, naturally, some of the finest restaurants.
- Placa de Sant Jaume - As we stroll between dining venues, we will pass through and briefly discuss some of the beautiful streets and plazas, such as the Plaça de Sant Jaume and the Plaça Sant Just. (The exact route depends on the selection of restaurants for that evening.)
- El Born / La Ribera - While the tour primarily focuses on the iconic Gothic Quarter, we often traverse parts of other picturesque old areas of the Ciutat Vella (Old City): El Born and La Ribera.

Tapas, tapas, and more! - Great choice of restaurants, tapas ordered to suit group’s taste, and no stinting on quantity. Guide Maria made the whole tour seamless, from the walks to the three spots, the dishes chosen and even facilitating lively conversation with the group. Then, the extra mile, following up with a myriad of other dining options. Will have to get to those on a future trip! Definitely recommend. Gracias for a memorable night.

Great Tapas Tour in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter - This was a great tour, with a GREAT tour guide - Maria. The small size (6 guests + Maria) made the evening tour personal and intimate. The food and drinks were amazing. We learning so much about the Gothic Quarter and some local traditions.

Wonderful food tour!!! 11/10 - Barcelona Taste was an excellent food tour! I think this was the best possible way to start our trip in Barcelona. Our guide, Noah, was absolutely fantastic. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable about food, he also knew so much about history and was very charismatic. During our tour, we passed a local comedy club and Noah mentioned that he performed improv there as well and would be performing later in the week. We decided to go the Thursday night show and had such a blast — it was definitely one of the trip highlights. We had such a great time and had a lot of great laughs!! Noah also provided many great restaurant recommendations for us to check out during our stay in Barcelona. We’re so glad we stumbled upon this tour whilst sifting through all the different options. This one is certainly a winner. We would definitely recommend 10 /10!!

Loved our tapas tour - Guide was fantastic, food was fantastic. Guide was able to tailor the ordering of food to accommodate folks with more specific food likes/dislikes. We felt like the other folks in the group were good people. We very much enjoyed our evening.

One of the best food tours we've ever been on - We had an amazing evening. Got a little turned around walking to our meeting place so we contacted our guide, Esther, and she walked over to meet us. Esther has great energy and explained a little bit about the history of the buildings we passed as we walked from destination to destination. The food at each stop was delicious. We were the only two people on the tour so by the end of the first stop we felt like we were having a food adventure with a good friend. Esther is super knowledgeable about the city of Barcelona and is well travelled in general. She obviously has great relationships with the staff at each stop. It was a very memorable evening and definitely one of the best food tours we have ever been on. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone travelling to Barcelona. If we return to Barcelona we would do this tour again! Thank you Esther for sharing your evening with us and showing us such warmth and hospitality, we appreciate you!

Fabulous Food Tour - Esther was a fabulous hostess and we had a wonderful time on the tour! She put everyone at ease and we were all laughing and telling stories, in addition to learning so much about the Gothic Quarter. And the food and drink were superb!

Tasty tapas and great family outing - We had the best time tasting the delicious traditional food and drink of Barcelona. Our guide Maria was so fun and knowledgeable about all the food. She also shared much information on Catalonian traditions that were fascinating. She was a great conversationalist tool We had so much fun that we wanted to bring Maria home with us. I highly recommend this tour!
