Our day begins in Gratallops, where we’ll take in the breathtaking views of Catalonia’s most impressive vineyards, the birthplace of Priorat wine, and we’ll make a necessary stop at a local winery. Our journey takes us to La Figuera, Priorat’s most exceptional viewpoint. From here, we’ll see the Pyrenees, Sierra dels Ports, Segre River, Maestrazgo de Castellón, and the lands of Aragon. Our next stop is Cabacés, the perfect spot for olive oil enthusiasts, boasting eight olive oil mills open for tours. We’ll take a slight detour to Poboleda to take a look at the Cathedral of Priorat or Church of San Pedro. Along the way, we’ll find the Cartuja de Escaladei, the first Carthusian Monastery in the Iberian Peninsula, and where we can explore its ancient ruins. At the end of the tour, we’ll visit Siurana, a stunning location perched on a rocky outcrop, where the remains of a ninth-century Arab fort and the Church of Santa Maria are must-visit spots.
