MARC IS AMAZING! - Our guide, Marc, was incredible! We had such a great sunset cruise and even got to jump into the Med and swim for about 25 minutes. The tapas and cava afterwards were great. Marc was very knowledgeable about the city line of Barcelona and we learned a lot of new info!!! Highly recommend booking this excursion

Amazing views and a fun evening on the water - Booked this sunset sail last minute after my breakfast cruise through Viator cancelled. The weather was very warm and humid in Barcelona in August. You could paddle board if you wanted. There was music, snacks, and cava. Overall, it was a very nice experience.

Great evening boat trip - Great trip - our kids aged 7, 11, and 13 said it was their favorite part only the trip. Plenty of time to play in the Mediterranean Sea.

Not actual sailing. - No sailing, getting to the sea with the motor engine and parked there for 2 hours. The skipper was kind.

Do not recommend! - On the day we visited the yellow flags were flying at the beach, and when we got onto the boat Marc the skipper told us that it might be quite choppy on the sea and that we had the option of cancelling or going out and seeing how it felt and making a decision. We decided to go out as it had taken us an hour to get to the marina and we didn’t want it to be for nothing. We told Marc that our main reason for doing the boat trip was to swim and asked him if we would still be able to. He said that we would. After about 20 minutes it became clear that the sea was more than a little ‘choppy’ and we were quite surprised when Marc stopped the boat for us to swim. We asked if it would be ok to swim and he said it would. We were not familiar with this water and we are not sailors. We trusted Marc’s expertise and said we would swim. I’m a strong swimmer and I’m not joking when I say that we almost drowned. We spent the most uncomfortable few minutes in the water literally holding onto the paddleboard for dear life. The photos are crazy we literally look terrified! Meanwhile the boat was rocking so much it looked like it was about to capsize and we could see the underside of the boat at times. We got out of the water and asked him to take us back to the marina. The trip back to the marina was horrific! I literally don’t know how else to describe it. Obviously we are adults and we made the decision not to cancel the trip on our own but there is absolutely no way that it should have gone ahead and we should not under any circumstances have been allowed to swim - anyone that was less of a swimmer than us could’ve got into real trouble. The decision to go ahead and sail should not have been left to us. In total, we spent an hour on the boat at a cost of £110. We were not given any of the advertised snacks (not that we could’ve eaten anything anyway) and not offered any kind of compensation or refund. It’s the job of the skipper to keep customers safe and make timely decisions based on the weather and I do not believe that this happened on this occasion. The boat trip was our last day in Barcelona and ruined our entire trip to the point that we will probably never return to the city. I would very much like a refund.
