• El Poblenou - Once an industrial area, this district is now filled with gems like modern parks, neoclassical cemeteries, street art, “superblocks,” and impressive new architectural projects. It’s quieter than the city center and perfect for cycling. Most of our tours pass through this district.
• Torre Agbar - This uniquely shaped marvel is one of Barcelona’s most iconic structures. We admire its colorful exterior and discuss the city’s modernization.
• Los Encantes Barcelona - We frequently visit this delightful old flea market to shop for quirky souvenirs or enjoy a snack. The entire area has been revitalized in recent years.
• Parc de la Ciutadella - This beautiful park is named after the citadel that once stood here. We explore its numerous attractions, including a fountain partially designed by Gaudi, and breathe in the fresh air.
• El Born - We enjoy guiding travelers through the hidden backstreets of the Born district, filled with secrets, boutiques, artisan shops, and cozy cafes. The central ‘square’ was once a medieval jousting ground!
• Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar - On most tours, we pass by this stunning Gothic masterpiece and admire the rose-window façade before exploring the rest of El Born.
• Playa de La Barceloneta - No cycling tour in Barcelona is complete without a ride along the beach. We usually save this route for the return journey, relishing the sun on our faces and the lively atmosphere of this vibrant beach.
