Delicious and relaxing - We were very glad that we booked the class. It was informative, relaxing and friendly. It was low key, as my husband and I were the only guests and we appreciate that our hosts did not cancel even though they had a large group coming later in the day. It was a demonstration with detailed explanation rather than a full hands on experience, which suited us fine, as flipping a Spanish omelette would have been a little intimidating, so I prefer to try it at home. Getting to know the neighborhood (the waterfront, Mercat de la Barceloneta, not part of the class) was an extra treat. Thank you, Alfonso and Txema!

Definitely do this! - Wow! So much to learn about tapas in so short a time. A very efficient meal preparation gave us plenty of time to slowly enjoy all of the food we’d helped prepare. Four people would have been better for the amount of food that we had. But in either case, it was amazingly delicious.

Nice experience - Our group really enjoy this experience. The hosts were very friendly. I'm a picky eater and wasn't sure there would be much for me to eat, but everything was so fresh and tasty! I highly recommend. For those planning this, just wait outside the door outside and they will come down to get you when they are ready.

Tapas Treat - A charming couple welcomed us into their penthouse apartment and private rooftop deck. The sunny day made the views of the adjacent marina wonderful. The Spanish tapas that we (really the couple did most of the cooking) were delicious and unexpected. We expected bite-sized tapas served on small pieces of bread, but most of what we ate needed a fork. The food and drink was simple, typical, and tasty. The quantity was too much as our group of 4 only ate half. The best part was visiting with the owners!

Tapas workshop treat - What a fantastic experience with Alfonso and his partner (apologies have forgotten name). Beautiful apartment and views. The weather prevented us from eating on the gorgeous terrace but we did go up to check out the amazing views of the city. This was a birthday treat for my husband with our two grown up children. The variation of tapas was excellent tortilla, shrimp, gazpacho, russian salad and the instruction great. Loved the white sangria. We have already received all the recipes for the various dishes and look forward to trying to reproduce them at home. The surprise birthday cake they produced at the end was indeed the icing on the cake for a wonderful experience. The only other feedback I could possibly give would be that perhaps Alfonso could perhaps allow a little more practical interaction for example I think we would be more likely to try making the croquettes again if we had rolled one ourselves as that looked quite tricky. Highly recommend this experience if you find yourself in Barcelona.

Tapas with a view - Such a wonderful experience! Hosts were sweet and hospitable. We were greeted with a glass of cava and went up to the garden terrace. Beautiful! It was very windy so we decided to go indoors for the tapas and the view of the marina from their apartment was stunning. The table was set up with all the ingredients and we helped prep the veggies. We made Russian salad, Spanish omelet, prawns with mushrooms, mussels and white sangria. Food was absolutely fresh and delicious. It was only 3 of us and the 2 hosts which made it a more homey and intimate experience. Felt like we went to a friend’s house for lunch. We even got to meet their pet bird Coco and dog Grey. It was a very memorable experience.

Nice afternoon - Whilst a great afternoon little disappointed that we were inside, and not on the rooftop. Everything already set up inside so felt would be an inconvenience to move it all up the stairs. Didn't do much cooking, Alfonso did, but we prepped and it was nice enough. Sadly I don't think an experience worth £60 but we enjoyed it none the less
