Highlights
  • Arc de Triomf - The Arc de Triomf is a monument situated at the intersection of Paseo de Lluís Companys, Paseo de San Juan, and Ronda de San Pedro in Barcelona. Designed by architect José Vilaseca, it served as the main entrance to the 1888 Barcelona Universal Exhibition.
  • Plaza de Toros Monumental de Barcelona - The Plaza Monumental de Barcelona is a bullring in Barcelona. Opened in 1914 as Plaza de El Sport, it was expanded and renamed “Monumental” in 1916.
  • Sagrada Familia - The Expiatory Temple of the Sagrada Familia, commonly known as the Sagrada Familia, is a Catholic basilica in Barcelona designed by Antoni Gaudí. Construction began in 1882 and continues to this day. It is Gaudí’s masterpiece and a prime example of Catalan modernist architecture.
  • Casa Mila - La Pedrera - Casa Milà, more commonly known as La Pedrera due to its quarry-like appearance, was the last civil project by Antoni Gaudí before he focused solely on the Sagrada Familia. Built between 1906 and 1910, it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994 and is a must-visit.
  • Casa Batllo - Located in the heart of the Ensanche, Casa Batlló is one of Barcelona’s most famous buildings. Designed by Antoni Gaudí in the early 20th century during the height of modernism, it was intended as the residence for the Batlló family. The building is a true work of art, both inside and out, with its facade being particularly striking on Passeig de Gràcia.
  • Plaza de Catalunya - It’s hard to visit Barcelona without passing through Plaza de Catalunya, which connects Ciutat Vella and the Ensanche neighborhood. It is a central hub for public transport and some of the city’s most important streets.
  • Plaça d’Espanya - Plaça d’Espanya in Barcelona is one of the city’s most iconic spaces. Built for the 1929 International Exhibition, it was designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch and Guillem Busquets, and completed by Antoni Darder.
  • Montjuic - Montjuic, or Montjuich, is a mountain in Barcelona standing 177 meters above sea level. It is home to a neighborhood of the same name in the Sants-Montjuic district.
  • Gothic Quarter (Barri Gotic) - The Gothic Quarter, or Barri Gòtic, is a charming district with narrow medieval streets filled with trendy bars, pubs, and Catalan restaurants. The Museu d’Història de Barcelona showcases remnants of the Roman city. Artisans sell leather goods and gemstones near Barcelona’s cathedral, while flower and food stalls line the bustling Rambla. An art market is held every weekend in Plaça del Pi, named after the adjacent Gothic church.
  • Port Vell (Old Port) - The Old Port is the oldest section of the Port of Barcelona. It is the birthplace of Barcelona’s artificial port, with over two thousand years of history. Separated from the sea by a breakwater, it was once a popular leisure spot for locals.
  • Ciutadella Park - Ciutadella Park is located in Barcelona’s Ciutat Vella district. For many years, it was the city’s only public park. It was created on the former grounds of the Citadel fortress, modeled after the Luxembourg Garden in Paris.

Great way to see the city and great for solo travelers - Amazing! Worth every penny. A perfect way to see and learn about the city from a young, friendly, relatable local. It’s educational and cool and because is not the big bus, you get off the main roads. Definitely great for solo travelers and you get great video / photos along the way for social media. 10/10.

Informative an funny tour, loved it! - Taking the Eco TukTuk tour was one of the best decisions of our trip to Barcelona. You get around very fast and efficiently, much better than any hop-on-hop-off bus. We loved the 2 hour long tour with our guide. She told us so much about this city, its history, its people, places to take photos, restaurants, markets... and provided tons of background stories you will not find in books or travel guides. It was more like a private and personalized city tour. Hope to come back soon and repeat this.

Perfect introduction to Barcelona. - Our tour with Irene was amazing! She was very informative and personable. Her knowledge of Barcelona, both past and present, as well as her art acumen, made for a very informative tour. This is a great tour to take at the beginning of your trip, which allowed us to at least see everything and decide what we did and did not have to return to for a longer engagement. We did the 2 hour tour which I think was a good choice. Just make sure you watch the video link they send showing you how to find the tuk tuk (basically it is in an underground garage). You enter through a glass square building in the sidewalk directly across from the bus depot.
