Next, you’ll head to Cisternino. This pristine, delightful town perched on a hilltop is known for its whitewashed buildings surrounded by the verdant flora native to the Murgian Trulli and is beautifully positioned overlooking the Itria Valley. It is celebrated as one of Italy’s top 100 picturesque small towns!
Your journey will then take you to Polignano a Mare. Known for its dramatic and picturesque location, the town’s historic center in the south of Bari is situated on towering white cliffs overlooking the sea. Polignano a Mare presents a labyrinth of narrow streets that abruptly open onto balconies situated 30 meters above sea level. It is hailed as the hot spot for Apulian artisan ice cream.
