Near Bari lies Polignano a Mare, a town that never fails to impress. The sea and cliffs mark it as a unique place to tour.
Standout points:
Enchanting village set against a backdrop of small beaches and cliffs
Breathtaking gradations of deep blue transitioning to brilliant green
Snap a selfie with Domenico Modugno, an icon of Italian music

The view around the statue is amazing!
We’ll visit the historical centre, the heart of a lovely restored ancient village on the Adriatic Coast, the entrance is via an old archway into narrow flag paved street with charming shops and cafes.
Downtown is just a matter of culture and history, amazing nice buildings and very special atmosphere, It is a labyrinth of treats, old houses all linked to each other, little squares and all standing huddled together over a series of caves fringed on the sea below.
There is a cave restaurant which is gorgeous and outside the entrance to the citadel there is a little cove surrounded by these homes built high on the rocks. Down in the cove is a tiny sandy beach, rocks and some restaurants.
The dramatic setting on cliffs above the sea provides a backdrop for the stone buildings and winding streets trod by generations for thousands of years.
The town’s rocky beach sits at the bottom of a small canyon with sheltered swimming in the azure blue Adriatic.
A great place to slow down, unwind and enjoy La Dolce Vita.
Polignano a Mare always surprise. Finally the sea and coastline with the very nice clifs makes this town very special to visit whatever time of the year.
