Fantastic. Don't miss - Booked this tour 3 months ago and it didn't disappoint me. The caves and old town Matera amazing a must. Alberobello was fascinating especially being able to go inside a home. The ancient tombs quite astonishing. A tour thoroughly enjoyed. Don't miss this one

Fascinating Tour - Francesco was our guide and he did an amazing job. Our first stop was Matera, city of the Sassi. What a unique city with a very historic past. The cave homes, rock churches and extraordinary settlement still intact today is amazing. Our next stop was Alberobello. This was a charming and quaint town. The Trullli are like nothing you've seen before. Typical white homes characterized by conical stone roof. Very beautiful. Highly recommend this tour.

Very interesting and well balanced tour. - Our guide Stephania was great. Her knowledge of Matera and Alberobello was amazing and I enjoyed the pace of both parts of the tour. Shw also had some personal anecdotes and knew sone of the locals, which made for a more peraonal experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for a comprehensive tour of Matera & Alberobello.

Very enjoyable day - Thought Matera was beautiful and the history was very interesting. Quite a lot of steps but we managed well. Good amount if time here too. Alberello was lovely too and the trulli houses were so different to anything we’ve seen before. Felt we could have been given some local history on our bus journeys but some people had only paid for transport and not tour so maybe that’s why. Although we both enjoyed the day we did feel it was overpriced.

UNESCO Tours-Mayeta & Alberobello - The tour was good. We started late waiting for some couples to join us. We did not have enough time to eat a good lunch on our own but our tour guide, Gabriella was nice and accommodating. This tour is not for seniors!

Tour allowed for experiencing multiple cultures in single day. - Wish we had more time in Madera—fascinating history and resurgence. Triulli houses were impressive. Overall a great experience.

Not good value I'm afraid! - Somewhat overpriced for what we had. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable but the organisation of the group using roll calls and a phone was too haphazard. We lost 30 min at Matera because two people were left behind at the meeting place and so cut short our next venue. You should be more professional over lists and checking who is present. There was no welcome aboard at the start and no helpful announcements at all on the coach. All in all poor value for money particularly as it is now being advertised at less than half the price we paid.

Incredible locations that improved the overall experience - The locations were incredible but the tour experience wasn’t the best I’ve had. The tour guide had some communications errors that could have caused big problems with timing had the patrons not triple checked the times, and he smoked frequently throughout the tour which was unpleasant. He was quite knowledgeable and gave us very good history and information about the sights though. It felt like our time in Alberobello was shorter than allocated on the itinerary.

Very bad experience - This tour would have been amazing if it had not been CANCELLED the day before. No reason give, just couldn't do it that day. We had only one day in Bari and really wanted to do this tour. We were not able to book another tour, even a private guide. TripAdvisor should not deal with this local company or have backup plan available.
