Most amazing thing I’ve done so far! - “This experience was amazing! Honestly I didn’t know what I was up against but no regrets at all. I wouldn’t change it for the world and it’s a “must” thing to do. The tour guides were absolutely awesome! Very professional and supported us all the way. Shoutouts to the Rio Natural Ecotourism Tour group.”

Gávea Stone - The landscapes are incredible, the climb is tough, but it's nothing out of this world, in 2 or 3 hours you can reach the top, and don't forget to bring insect repellent.

Great hikes of Pedra da Gávea and Sugarloaf - We hiked Pedra da Gávea and on the next day up the sugarloaf with PAULO! Both hikes were marvellous as expected with beautiful nature and vistas of Rio and the sea. Both hikes had one difficult part each where ropes were required to climb or descend, but with the help of PAULO it was easy to manage. He is very experienced and with is calm way helps overcome any kind of fears of heights. Safety first! I would always want to go with him again!

Incredible way to start my trip in Brazil - This hike was so much fun and our guide Rafael Caja was fantastic. The hike had many different types of hiking and climbing aspects to it, I’ve got a good bit of experience but even though it might be difficult for some it’s accessible to everyone especially with the right guide! We had many different levels of climbers and everyone made it to the top with the help and encouragement of Rafael. The views are incredible and well worth the effort!

Hiking in Rio - Excellent Operator - We used Rio Natural for two hikes for our trip to Rio - Christ the Redeemer and Pedra de Gavea. Both times we used them were fantastic! The guides were knowledgeable, professional, and personable and we couldn't recommend Rio Natural more. I'll admit that when we were planning on doing hikes in Rio, we were a bit worried about the safety aspect of it as foreigners, but Rio Natural made us feel very safe and made the experience easy and enjoyable. We were able to book both hikes just a few days out in advance via WhatsApp, were given clear pricing and communication as to expectations, and they were able to give us a guide for just the two of us. That made us feel really comfortable that we were going to be able to move at our own pace and do so with a knowledgeable, local guide. Fabio, our guide for our first hike to Christ the Redeemer, was fantastic. He was extremely outgoing and had a lot of insight about the local wildlife, culture, and people. We loved our time with him and really enjoyed the half-day hike up to Christ the Redeemer. Paolo, our guide for Pedra de Gavea, was awesome as well. He was extremely professional, made us feel very safe and was always looking out for us. We had never rock climbed before and he made us feel confident and safe. He was friendly and made sure we got to experience all that we could on Pedra de Gavea.
