Pedra do Telegrafo (354m / 1162ft), is one of the best Ecotourism hiking in Brazil. Is an amazing rock cliff above unspoiled beaches.
Located in a huge State park with its wonderful unspoiled beaches, lush forests and the Marambaia estuary.
It is a great choice for those looking for an optimal relation between effort/trail time and attraction. The trail lasts around 1 hour and it is considered light.
Returning from Pedra do Telegrafo, we will stop for a sea bath at Grumari beach.
The way back are through all the beaches along the shore of Rio, with nice spots to shoot photos. The attraction is located in Barra de Guaratiba (West Zone), aproximately 1 hour drive from South Zone of Rio.

• Recommendations: wear light clothes and hiking shoes, bring a small backpack with swimming suits and sandals, dry clothes for changing, towel, water, snacks, mosquito repellent, sunscreen, cap or hat, sunglasses and cash for extras.
