At home mezcal tasting in Puerto Escondido - We had an amazing experience with Puerto Mezcal Tours during our stay in Puerto Escondido! They came to our Airbnb to do a mezcal tasting for our group of 14, and it was an absolute blast. Jazmin kicked things off with a fantastic presentation about the different types of mezcal, which was both informative and engaging. They had no problem doing the entire tasting in English, which made it even easier for everyone in our group to follow and enjoy. The tasting itself was so much fun, and they even provided delicious snacks to pair with the mezcal, which was a great touch. If you’re looking for a fun and unique activity while in Puerto, I would highly recommend Puerto Mezcal Tours. It’s perfect for groups and a great way to learn about and enjoy the local culture!

Great way to start the evening with some wonderful mezcals. - I've done several high end mezcal tastings with well known groups in Mexico City. This one was actually more informative and it was helpful to see how parts of the process actually work. Quite varied artisinals mezcals to try also. Was a very enjoyable part of the trip.

Mexcal never tasted so fun! - We had sooo much fun!!!!! We love mezcal so coming on this tour was a perfect adventure for us! Our guide was very knowledgeable and FUN! The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Plus, we had 10 month old baby with us and they were terrific with him!! We learned so much about the process of making Mezcal and the sampling was incredible! We tasted 10 different varieties and the snacks to accompany our tastings were plentiful and varied! From nuts to grasshoppers to worms to chips! I HIGHLY recommend this tour - everyone who participated, had high energy and great attitudes! I am so glad we were able to purchase some of the family brand of mezcal to bring home to share!!

An unmissable experience in Puerto Escondido - I really enjoyed the tour, it is a very fun experience and at the same time interesting and informative. Antoine and his team are amazing hosts, very warm and professional, from the transportation that passes you before and at the end of the tour and all your attentions. I learned a lot about mezcal, despite having previous knowledge I found very interesting a lot of data that I did not know about mezcal and its history. Having this amazing guided experience allowed me to better distinguish the different types of mezcal and I loved being able to see the whole process of making mezcal in person. The experience also included trying different things like maguey worm and maguey breast. The team is very charismatic and they solved all my questions. It was an unmissable experience for all who visit Puerto Escondido, especially for all those who wish to learn more about the culture of Oaxaca.

Wonderful and memorable! A must do Puerto Escondido! - An incredible visit in Puerto Escondido, which I highly recommend. It's a fun experience, but also very interesting and informative, which I really enjoyed! I appreciate the clear and pleasant explanations of our excellent guide Jazmín, who, in addition to being extremely warm and friendly, allowed us to know, value and appreciate this agave elixir in a different way! I loved that they continue to carry out a traditional-artisanal production process, and the respect and pride they show for it. Don't worry if you are a mezcal amateur or if you don't consume a lot of alcohol like me, the team will help you step by step to taste it correctly, and perhaps it will awaken in you, as it did in me, a taste and love that you didn't know about for mezcal. !
