I’m a beginner and have... - I’m a beginner and have taken several lessons from different schools over the world. While I had fun catching a couple waves and pictures for the first time at those schools, Alberto cared about teaching me the fundamental techniques and making sure I was doing them properly. He was also able to easily tell me what I was doing wrong and how to fix them every time, which is super helpful coming from someone with 30+ years of surfing experience, would highly recommend!

Top Notch Surf School - Best surf lesson I have ever received! Can't remember the exact name of my instructor but he was very down to business but the technique he taught me was flawless. I stood up almost every time I hit a wave which is so rare for me. If you want to learn how to ACTUALLY surf I highly recommend.

Such a great experience - I had little experience with surfing (and apparently poor form), my friend and 9 year old brother had never even attempted it. He gave a very lesson in the sand that took maybe 5 minutes, correcting my form and teaching them what they should do along with the mindset required. He’s definitely a no fuss instructor, but really that’s what you need. Within 15 minutes all of us were standing and catching every wave. The instructor that stayed with my 9 year old brother was so encouraging and kept him from feeling discouraged and really instilled a lot of confidence in him. 1000% recommend, If you’re wanting a fun no bs experience this is where you should book.

Great Surfing great people - You absolutely have to try this if you love surfing or haven’t had the chance to but want to learn. This instructor has many years of experience and he’s so caring for his learners. The only thing is this: you need to be a good swimmer with waters and waves that are pretty big, if you easily get sea sick like myself I would recommend taking dramamine or zofran before. That is the only reason why I’m giving it a four if I didn’t have nausea so bad I would have given it a 5. It’s usually 90 minutes long. They give you a 5-10 minute prep course I would have liked it to be longer at least 45 minutes and would have paid more even done it in groups of three and extended it even to three hours if it meant more teaching like having the actual board on the sand and more time practicing and done it on the baby waves first. You should also think about bringing your own water shoes, towel, and water for hydration. I loved the beach and the people and actual surfing was so much fun!!! :)
