Lucerne, undoubtedly the most renowned city in Switzerland, is nestled amongst mountains, marking the beginning of several journey experiences along the end of Lake Lucerne. Dominated by the medieval Chapel Bridge, one of Europe’s oldest covered wooden structures filled with gable artworks, this city is remarkable. The carved stone statue of ‘The Dying Lion,’ commemorating the valiant demise of the Swiss in the Tuileries in 1792, is amongst Switzerland’s most acclaimed monuments.
