This adventure to Mt Liamuiga (Mount Misery) Volcano begins with a hike starting at 700 feet above sea level, ascending to 3100 feet. Enjoy breathtaking views of the volcano’s crater, the summit at 3792 feet (1,156 meters) - the highest point in St Kitts and Nevis, and gaze down at the community below, along with the volcano on the neighboring island.
Please select a 9 a.m. departure only if your ship arrives after 7:30 a.m. Kindly include the arrival time in the notes.
Remember to bring extra clothes to change into after the hike. If you’re celebrating a special occasion, let us know, and we can arrange a celebratory drink package.

Breathtaking!!!! - We have never seen a volcano; so when this was stop at one our cruise ports we jumped to the opportunity. JB was awesome!!! I am not a hiker at all and he took the time to help me go up and down the path. My kids and husband did really good on the hike and the view was amazing!
This is not a walk in the park. It took us a total of 4 hours all of it hiking up the and then coming back down. They set a quick pace to make it by a certain time. Trust your guides!!! They know what they are doing and when they offer you the food and drinks - take them! They tell you when to eat what and during which stop.

Great Tour - Had such a fun trip! It was a really challenging and rewarding hike. The view was well worth it at the top. And the guides were great and so fun. Definitely recommend this tour!

Conquer Liamuiga with Janeel and Djae - I couldn’t ask for a better guide! Janeel and his brother Djae were the perfect guides, warning us when we were approaching extra slippery portions of the trail to take extra caution with our steps, guiding us in tricky sections where the inexperienced hiker might fall victim, even told us a little history of St Kitts along the route. Very prepared with snacks and drinks before and after the hike and made sure along the way we were feeling okay to continue. If you’re hesitant about booking JB Taxi, don’t be. Just do it, you’ll be glad you did.

Thrilling hike and great view of the lake in the caldera - Amazing tour guides, Janeel and DJ. They made the hike so much more enjoyable with their sense of humor, amazing commentary, and their knowledge and care for the trail. They even stopped to pick up litter that other groups had left behind. They truly care about this excursion and guarantee a pleasurable climb to the summit of the West Indies

Mount Liamuiga Volcano Hike in St Kitts, Nov 2024 - I completed this hike with my family and the guidance of Janeel and Jacquan. Halfway up the volcano I began to struggle, but the encouragement from our incredible guides and the excitement of being in a bigger group for this hike helped me push to the top which was 100% the right decision.
The view once you reach the top is incredibly beautiful and breathtaking. That, combined with the feeling of accomplishment, was a great experience.
Throughout the hike, Janeel and Jacquan were very educational and answered many questions I had about the terrain, the hike, and St Kitts as a whole. My group was welcomed as family and the experience as a whole was rewarding, exciting, and very fun.
I look forward to completing this hike once more when my family and I are able to return to the island. Thank you guys for being so incredible!

Climbing Mt. Liamuiga volcano on St. Kitts - Awesome hike to the top of Mt. Liamuiga on St. Kitts!!! I did it 40 years ago and was so happy to do it again going back with my children. Our guides Janeel and Jacquan were INCREDIBLE!!!

This is not a walk in the park! - This is an unforgettable experience. Amazing views from the top. Do not attempt unless you a very fit person. You will deal with heat, humidity, altitude, slippery roots, rocks, mud and very steep inclines. Just as difficult to descend as to climb. Thanks to the indomitable Jaquan who got me to the top and half carried me back down. It would not have been possible without him! It was a once in a lifetime experience. A shout out to the wonderfully kind Utah folks I climbed with who engineered my glasses, carried everything for me, sacrificed a shoulder to support me on the way down and who along with Jaquan and Janeel cheered me on to the top and encouraged me every step of the way to the bottom.

Awesome Hike up Mr. Liamuiga Volcano - I read a lot about this hike & was looking forward to this challenging adventure! Once I found out it was going to be the guide & I (solo) doing this hike, I was even more excited! Djae was simply awesome! His hiking tips & technique were top notch, along with a cool personality made for an enjoyable but hard trip up the volcano. The hike is technical but doable, just bring some good light weight hiking shoes/boots & at least 2 liters of water & snacks. And trust me, the view at the top makes all the hard work worth it! I highly recommend this adventure with this company… they’re very knowledgeable & professional… I definitely made the right choice.
