This adventure to Mt Liamuiga (Mount Misery) Volcano begins with a hike starting at 700 feet above sea level, ascending to 3100 feet. Enjoy breathtaking views of the volcano’s crater, the summit at 3792 feet (1,156 meters) - the highest point in St Kitts and Nevis, and gaze down at the community below, along with the volcano on the neighboring island.
Please select a 9 a.m. departure only if your ship arrives after 7:30 a.m. Kindly include the arrival time in the notes.
Remember to bring extra clothes to change into after the hike. If you’re celebrating a special occasion, let us know, and we can arrange a celebratory drink package.

Awesome Volcano Hike - We had a fantastic hike with JB excursions. We were picked up promptly at our hotel and got to see half the island on our drive to
The volcano. The hike was NOT for the faint of heart. The last half mile was pretty much straight up. The view at the top was well worth it. Our guides Djae and Jamella did a great job. They were fun to talk with and we felt safe the entire time. Give this hike a shot you won’t regret it!

Really great experience! - Djae and Janeel were great tour operators. They made it fun all the way and took good care of us! The trip up the mountain was sometimes tough, but a great way to see this beautiful island.

One of the best experiences in my life! - This hike was the best part of my trip
To St. Kitts because it was the most challenging mountain climb that I’ve ever done in my life. I’m not an experienced hiker but decided to push my limits. I’m glad I did it but would not recommend it to amateurs or people with some health conditions as it requires athleticism and endurance. My tour guy was amazing. Thanks to him and my stubbornness (I couldn’t allow myself to give up) I was able to make it to the top. The views are spectacular! No regrets at all! Im so glad I decided to challenge myself and would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wished to do the same :)

Great Time! - Absolutely worth it! Our guide Jacquan absolutely made the trip. He is funny and encouraging and wants everyone to get to the top. This is a more challenging hike and I would not recommend it if you are not in great shape. However if you are in good shape and use to long hikes it is not too challenging. I would highly recommend this on any visit to Saint Kitts.

Great experience!... - Great experience! Beautiful view at the top. It is surreal! Janeel provided transport, smooth and efficient, and DeeJay was the best of the best. (He was our guide that took us to the top.) DeeJay provided some information about the Volcano and St. Kitts while hiking, and was very patient offering numerous rest stops, and much encouragement which was very needed lol. The hike is strenuous and you WILL feel it! But it is completely worth it. Definitely a memory for a lifetime. 10/10 BOOK IT!!!

Challenging and fun adventure! - The jungle is amazing. I was hiking with my 7-year-old son, who was very brave and made all the way to the top. Our guide (Djae) was really helpful, shared interesting facts and cared about our safety. I higly recommend this trip but be prepared to use not 2 but 4 limbs ;)

Challenging but amazing! - The Mount Liamuiga hike was an unforgettable experience! The trail was challenging but so worth it for the incredible views at the summit and the chance to explore the lush rainforest. Our guide was fantastic—super helpful and knowledgeable, making the trek much easier to navigate. Highly recommend this hike to anyone visiting St. Kitts!

Amazing experience. I am... - Amazing experience. I am an avid/intermediate hiker- as this was a challenge, you can do it! If you are not active, not in good physical/cardio vascular shape, then skip this excursion. Make sure you pack very light but you definitely need to bring a change of shoes. Hiking shoes will get wet and very muddy. Plan accordingly.

Great volcano hike! - Janeel was a fantastic guide for my family up and down the volcano. He took great care of my 8 year old daughter, making sure she was climbing and descending safely. He also took us to a very special little beach filled with sea glass. Lastly, he arranged a morning of sightseeing for my nanny and 2 year old son. He is a very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful guide.
