Dune buggy and snorkel experience - I had an incredible experience on the Dune Buggy Tours in St. Kitts! The beach-fun and views were absolutely amazing as we explored the island. Our leader, WS, was so detailed and knowledgeable about the area. We even got to take a refreshing swim in a beautiful waterfall. Definitely a 5-star review for this adventure-packed tour!

Do not skip this experience! - I contacted Mad Max via email on our ship at breakfast. Super quick to respond and confirm they could pick us up at the port shops. Max showed up right on time and off we went. We went on a cruise excursion “4x4 Safari” on an island 2 days prior. Mad Max blew them out of the water! The 2 man crew was awesome as well as great with kids as well. The tour was all over the hills of St. Kitts and to some beautiful views! We ended at a beautiful beach and Shipwreck Bar which was an awesome spot. No rushing at all, just when do you want to be back to the ship. Beyond impressed with Mad Max and cannot recommend enough. Can’t wait to go back!

Best Buggies Ever - Our trip was fantastic. Obo and Torrence were the ABSOLUTE BEST. The buggies were in top shape and easy to drive. Obo's stories were worth the price of admission. The drive was beautiful and in areas we would have never seen alone. Reservation process was easy. It is a must do!

Off-road fun in the dirt - Picked up on time. Maxine is as mad as the buggy’s she rents 😂. OBO and rusty were great fun and knowledgeable.
Great fun had all round and OBO even took some great photos up on lovers mount.

AWESOME Dune Buggy Ride! - This was so much fun!
I am a bit nervous riding ATV-type vehicles, so my husband drove the dune buggy, and I was a passenger. We had such a great time! Maxine, Olo (Sp?), and Torrence were so accommodating and I felt safe the entire time. Based on our wishes, they took us through neighborhoods, so we learned a lot about the island. We also went off-roading and saw animals and gorgeous views.
The dune buggies are modern and comfortable.
At the end of our 3-hour ride, they took us to a local beach bar where we had delicious food and drinks!
We had their cell number so could stay and enjoy the bar and the beach for as long as we wanted. They came back to transport us to the cruise port when we called them. What a nice extra touch!
I just can't say enough about how well this tour and experience went. 5 STARS!!!

Get Buggy with it! - We are a large family of 13 people and had a blast on Mad Max dune buggies!! They were pretty easy to drive, considering you drive on the opposite side of the buggy and the road! The scenery was amazing and all of our guides were fantastic! The beach was so refreshing, the water clear, and the food delicious! Max is easy to reach with any questions. Be prepared to submit lots of personal info (passport, drivers license) in order to get a St. Kitts temporary drivers license.

Dune Buggys were so fun - Great time riding dune buggys with Mad Max’s. We rode for about 2 hours up through the town and into the mountains. The tour guide was great. He gave us history of the island and took photos of our family. The dune buggys were fun to drive !! We stopped at Shipwrecked for lunch and had some drinks. Great dat

Good day had by all - Maxine and her partner were great hosts, the meeting place was made clear from the start, we got what we were expecting and more, we got to drive the buggies for two hours, on and off road, so got to see a lot of the island that you wouldn’t normally get to see. After, Maxine took us to the beach and waited for us as long as we needed, then drove us back to the cruise ship. There was never any more talk of more money. Truly lovely people.

One of our BEST Excursions! - A Fun Ride and an Amazing Day!! The owner/operator offered great communication from the moment we booked. She was right where she said she would be to pick us up and it only got better from there! We had a really fun time on our dune buggy ride (we had four buggies in our group). The buggies felt well maintained and the instruction was helpful. They offered us neck gaiters to guard us from the dust (which in the end, wasn't that bad). We drove around the area for about two hours, stopped for photos at two or three lookouts, then returned to the starting point, where we loaded into a passenger van and headed to the vista overlooking Nevis (where the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic are on opposite sides). The photos were awesome and we were in awe of the beauty! She then drove us to Shipwrecked Beach and asked if anyone in the group would like to stay there until 4:30 pm, when she would be there to drive us back to our ship. IT. WAS. PARADISE! - So, duh, we stayed! What an amazing day!!! There was a local bar/restaurant grilling Jerk Chicken lunches, free lounge chairs w/palm coverings, snorkel rental, a gal offering massages, and the VIEW!!! Completely gorgeous! There are also local (friendly) monkeys that are fed fruit scraps by the restaurant. They don't want anything to do with you, but I love my photos/videos of them (mongoose too). The owner/operator was there at 4:30 just like she said - and ready to drive us back to our ship. We were so grateful for the bonus of the beach and her willingness to drive us back. We were at our ship with plenty of time to board and pinch ourselves of our perfect day in St. Kitts!
Pro-tip - if/when you get off your boat, you will be hit with a ridiculous amount of driver/tour guides wanting to offer you their services...book this one (earliest option so you can take in a beach day too) and enjoy!!

It’s ok - Great guides with OBO and Rusty. Very safety oriented. The buggies were basic, but very noisy Chinese made machines. 50/50 mix of paved and dirt roads/trails, no real off roading. Surprised at end with a 4% credit card fee.
