- Batu Caves - Batu Caves is a renowned and iconic tourist destination in Selangor. Home to a Hindu temple and shrine, it draws thousands of worshipers and tourists. Located just north of Kuala Lumpur, this limestone outcrop features three main caves with temples and Hindu shrines. The main attraction is the large statue of a Hindu deity at the entrance, along with a steep 272-step climb that offers a breathtaking view of the city skyline. Monkeys play around the caves, and it is also a popular spot for rock climbing enthusiasts. The site is adorned with paintings and scenes of Hindu gods.
- Petronas Twin Towers - Standing at 451.9 meters, the magnificent Petronas Twin Towers are a globally recognized symbol of modern Malaysia. They are the centerpiece of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) development, which includes landmarks such as the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Suria KLCC shopping mall, luxury hotels, a mosque, and the beautifully landscaped KLCC Park. Visitors can explore the Skybridge on the 41st floor and the viewing deck on the 86th floor.
- Menara Kuala Lumpur - Rising majestically atop Bukit Nanas at 421 meters and 94 meters above sea level, KL Tower is a prominent feature of the city’s skyline. Its architecture reflects the country’s Islamic heritage, with intricate Arabic scripts, Islamic tiles, classic floral and abstract motifs, and soothing color combinations.
- Geneve Timepiece Sdn Bhd - A wholesaler and retailer of timepieces and watches located in Batu Caves, Geneve Timepiece Sdn Bhd is expanding its distribution and retail networks across Asia. Since 1990, Geneve Corporation has been the global authorized distributor, operator, and marketing arm for the brand “Blansacar - Five-Star General.” Blansacar, known for its fine quality and Swiss-crafted movement, is one of the flagship products offered by Geneve Corporation.
- Istana Negara - Istana Negara, or the National Palace, is the official residence of the King of Malaysia. This majestic building, located on Jalan Duta, became the National Palace in November 2011, replacing the old palace on Jalan Istana. It features 22 domes, with the largest dome reaching up to 40 meters in height. Note: Visits are limited to the exterior.
- Perdana Botanical Garden - Formerly known as Perdana Lake Gardens, Lake Gardens, and Public Gardens, Perdana Botanical Gardens is Kuala Lumpur’s first large-scale recreational park. Spanning 91.6 hectares, it is located in the heart of the city and was established in 1888.
- National Monument - The National Monument was built to honor those who sacrificed their lives for peace and freedom, particularly during the nation’s struggle against communism. The grounds feature one of the world’s largest free-standing bronze sculptures, created in 1966 by Felix de Weldon, who also designed the famous Iwo Jima Monument in Washington, D.C.
- Malaysian Houses of Parliament - The Malaysian Houses of Parliament is a complex where the Malaysian Parliament convenes. Located in the Lake Gardens area of Kuala Lumpur, it is close to the National Monument.
- Merdeka Square - Merdeka Square is situated directly opposite the Sultan Abdul Samad Building and next to the Royal Selangor Club. This historic site is where the Union Flag was lowered, and the Malayan flag was raised for the first time at midnight on August 31, 1957. Since then, Merdeka Square has been the venue for the annual Merdeka Parade.
- National Textile Museum - The National Textile Museum houses a unique collection of clothing, accessories, and textiles. It features four main galleries: Pohon Budi Gallery, Pelangi Gallery, Teluk Berantai Gallery, and Ratna Sari Gallery.
- Sultan Abdul Samad Building - The iconic Sultan Abdul Samad Building is located in front of Dataran Merdeka. This historic building houses the Supreme and High Courts. Its unique Moorish design and clock tower make it a popular subject for photographs by visitors to the city center.
- Music Museum - The Music Museum Kuala Lumpur opened on August 1, 2015, in a colonial-era building on Jalan Raja, facing Dataran Merdeka in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. This elegant building was constructed in 1919 as the KL branch of Chartered Bank.
- National Mosque (Masjid Negara) - Masjid Negara is one of the most distinguished landmarks in the city. It features a unique star-shaped dome and a 73-meter high minaret. The National Mosque is located on the fringes of the KL Lake Gardens. Visitors are advised to dress appropriately, and women are required to wear headscarves.
- Malayan Railway Administration Building - One of Malaysia’s most beautiful old buildings, the Railway Station and Administration Building is a stunning example of Moorish architecture.
- The River of Life - The River of Life (ROL) is a seven-year project led by the Malaysian government to transform the Klang River into a vibrant and livable waterfront with high economic value. Covering eight rivers with a total length of 110 kilometers, the project is divided into three major components.
- Jamek Mosque - Officially known as Sultan Abdul Samad Jamek Mosque, Jamek Mosque is one of the oldest mosques in Kuala Lumpur. Located at the confluence of the Klang and Gombak rivers, it can be accessed via Jalan Tun Perak. Designed by Arthur Benison Hubback and built in 1909, Masjid Jamek served as Kuala Lumpur’s main mosque. It features Moorish architecture.
- Beryl’s Chocolate Kingdom - Beryl’s Chocolate Kingdom is one of two outlets by Beryl’s, a renowned chocolate brand. The main attraction here is chocolate. Beryl’s produces a wide variety of chocolates made from the finest Ghana cocoa beans. Visitors can sample many types of chocolates for free and choose from over 100 varieties to purchase as gifts or for personal enjoyment. Beryl’s creativity has resulted in unique chocolate variants available only in Malaysia, such as chili chocolate, durian chocolate, green tea chocolate, and fruit-infused chocolates.
- Seri Wawasan Bridge, Putrajaya - The first stop is one of seven bridges in Putrajaya, and it is the most elegant. The 240-meter cable bridge features a futuristic design resembling a sailing ship. The Seri Wawasan Bridge is visible from many vantage points in the city.
- Putrajaya Lake - Putrajaya Lake is a man-made lake located in the center of Putrajaya, Malaysia. Covering 650 hectares, it is designed to act as a natural cooling system for the city and is also used for recreation, fishing, water sports, and water transport.
- Perdana Putra - This imposing building stands atop the main hill in Putrajaya, catching the eye with its palatial-style green dome and stone walls. Featuring a blend of Islamic and modern architecture, the office complex is where ministers and high officials work. It is not open to visitors, but its grandeur can be admired from the outside.
- Putra Mosque - The Putra Mosque is known for its iconic pink hue, thanks to its rose-tinted granite. Built by the lake in 1997, the mosque can accommodate up to 15,000 worshipers. Visitors often stop by to take photographs of this sophisticated landmark, which draws inspiration from Malay and Middle Eastern influences.
- Seri Perdana - Seri Perdana is the official residence of the Prime Minister of Malaysia, located in Putrajaya.
- Masjid Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin (Masjid Besi) - The Iron Mosque, or Tunku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque, is another architectural marvel worth visiting. Constructed primarily from steel, its “wire mesh” architecture is inspired by Chinese and German designs. Unlike other mosques in Malaysia, it does not have a minaret for calling prayers. From a distance, it appears to be made of metal or glass.
- Millennium Monument - Designed in 2005 to usher in the new millennium, this is the first monument built in Putrajaya. The walkway spiraling around the monument illustrates Malaysia’s history, with panels describing significant events in the country. There is a time capsule at the base of the monument, set to be opened in 2020. As you ascend the ramps of the Millennium Monument, you can enjoy sweeping views of the waterfront.
- 172, Persiaran Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah - Istana Melawati is the second national palace of Malaysia’s Yang di-Pertuan Agong in Putrajaya, serving as a royal retreat for the King.
- Moroccan Pavilion Putrajaya - The Moroccan Pavilion deserves five stars for its Instagram-worthy appeal, if such a rating existed. Built to symbolize the diplomatic ties between the two governments, its stunning architecture and intricate craftsmanship resemble the villages and imperial cities of Morocco.

Beautiful tour - It was a beautiful tour but above all everything was made more beautiful by our guide Richard, very knowledgeable, competent, attentive, he always spoke with us, he involved us. We recommend this tour especially with Richard who made the difference

Efficiency in private tour - The tour was good. I was under the impression it was a group tour but it turned out to be a private tour. Navin, the driver and tour guide was patient and informative. We went round the city, hitting the almost all the important highlights. The private tour allows you to avoid things you don't want to do or not particularly exciting. Expensive but allows efficiency.

Putrajaya, Batu and City - Excellent tour we had with Iliyas +60 12 461 2976, knowledgeable and in a nice AC SUV.
Putrajaya is without doubt one of the most beautiful places in Kuala Lumpur, very interesting and the master piece of a clever PM. Read about it.

Loved it - We liked Putrajaya. The buildings architecture is amazing. We had an amazing tour guide/driver from Vyas travel.
Batu Caves seems to be hype in our opinion. Climbing up all those steps for 70 year olds was a bit difficult on the knees.
Loved Kuala Lumpur tour too, unfortunately our tour coincided with the Chinese new year and school holidays... so lesson learnt not to visit during festive season.

Too much in one day - If you are looking for a "guided" tour this is not the one for you. It is more of a drive and drop off arrangement. I found the list of sites too long and rushed - it was pretty tiring and I found I needed to cut it short having seen those places I was particularly interested in. The driver was friendly and his driving was good but the car was a bit dirty and smelled of cigarettes.
