Firefly experience with Seafood dinner. - Driver Shaan Kanda. Beautiful vehicle and bottle water supplied. Melawati hill and silver leaf monkeys were amazing to see. An experience we will remember for a lifetime.

Good itinerary, poor service - This was our first trip to Kuala Lumpur, and our family selected this tour package based on the described itinerary and prior review. Both looked fun and positive, respectively. Now this is what actually happened to us... 1. We booked the tour for 3pm, tour company pushed time back to 3:30pm while driver did not show up till 4:30pm. They blamed the delay on KL Saturday traffic but as a local tour company, they knew a month ahead that our tour was on a Saturday so should have anticipated and arrived early. This is unprofessional and not an acceptable excuse. 2. Even though the tour manager said it was plenty of time when I reached out, it turns out not to be the case. The driver rushed us through Batu Caves (45 min instead it should really require 90min to not rush and see everything), skipped the Timepiece portion, just so we can make the 7pm firefly boat ride. Turned out we missed the boat anyway and had to take the next boat. 3. Likewise, we also cut short Bukit Melawati (to see monkeys and lighthouse). According to itinerary, we should have 45 minutes but we were again rushed through in 20min to make up for the driver delay. 4. The driver is only responsible to drive you to the individual locations and provide tickets. There is no guide and the driver is using their own personal vehicle. Our driver had an older vehicle so ride was not comfortable for 4 of us in his car. Keep in mind the whole tour takes 5-6 hours and most of this is spent driving in the car. 5. I should state that all the sites in the itinerary are worth visiting and the included dinner was good. So, a worthwhile trip but poorly planned and serviced. Overall, this package is NOT worth the price paid. The itinerary is actually very good. Failure is in the tour company running this package. My recommendation to everyone is to print out the itinerary, and ask other tour companies for this package when you get to KL. Having done this after the fact, I now realize many companies with better cars and services can offer the same thing at a cheaper price and be respectful of customer's time.
