Very interesting tour and description of salt making - Terrific tour and explanation of how salt is made in the Guérande salt pans. Demonstration of instruments on working salt farm. Edible salt-tolerant plants which grow in the area were pointed out, and sampled. Very knowledgeable and friendly guide.

An experience - immerse yourself in the world and history of salt - really exciting !! - The tour through the salt marshes was exceptional. The enthusiasm for salt production jumped immediately to us. We have received very valuable information and all questions have been answered. Our guide has given us a whole new perspective on salt and life as a salt farmer. We are beyond thrilled !! Besides salt we were allowed to taste Queller and horse rug. We can only recommend it - a must if you are in the Guerande area. Merci beaucoup - c'etait une aventure !!

More than delighted by this visit of Saline - I had a bright idea to offer this visit to a couple of friends during a weekend at La Baule: we were all captivated by the Guide and his passion: he takes us into the profession of the malarial. You can't see time going by. One regret that the shop is closed on the day of our visit. Go ahead, eyes closed!

Visit not to be missed! - We knew table salt and Guérande salt, but without really knowing the difference, other than table salt is cheaper and Guérande salt is "best". A Paludiator and Guide, Rogerio told us the history of Guérande, the history of the Bourdic family, he explained how seawater enters and is distributed, how is harvested, the qualities of the 2 types of salt (coarse salt and fleur de sel) and how salt is regulated by time and temperature. His nephew joined our group and we tasted the Salicorn and the "sea chips" (obione), very young, he intends to become a malarial one day. It was a real pleasure to witness so much passion around this profession. Thank you again!

Salt that puts salt in the mouth - Pedagogical, with a lot of humor that does not exclude the seriousness of the explanation. Sometimes surprising tastings... but always pleasant. Thank you to the narrator for sharing his daily life, for simply sharing.
